I went to Dr. Cantwell because my son was having trouble reading and I wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything wrong with his vision. Dr. Cantwell diagnosed him with convergence and wanted him to come for many expensive sessions of «vision therapy». I asked for his diagnosis information and went to a reputable eye surgeon who told me that there was nothing wrong with my sons eyes and that this was a common scam that«developmental optometrists» conduct in order to get money out of parents who are concerned about their children’s problems with reading. Fast forward a year later and my son is having no trouble reading or with any other vision problems without any expensive quack«vision therapy». I don’t know how this man sleeps at night scamming parents out of thousands of dollars.
