Everyone is really friendly here. I’ve been to see Ms. Nancy twice and really love the color and the cut. She suggested a cut for me and I’m really happy with it. I’ll be back.

So maybe 2 months ago I went here to see Morgan. When I say she did an amazing job, I mean she did an amazing job. I recommend this Hair Salon to everyone even the guys because it is uni-​sex! Outstanding job guys, keep up the good work and I will be back for more!

Idk the name of the barber but he fixed me up nice after another barber elsewhere hacked my hair as if he was blind. When my hair eventually grows back I’m going here. It’s hard finding a barber after moving somewhere new. The shop is very nice and clean and the staff was super courteous. I got lucky walking in on a Saturday but I recommend you make an appointment just so you don’t wait too long. Another tip; be specific as to what you want and don’t want. It was weird going to a new barber after using the same barber for 10 years.

Where’s Nikki??? Anyone know?

I called them at noon on 8÷4÷13 and the call was not answered by a person but a machine. I was was never contacted for an appointment. Very disappointing

This salon is very clean, modern, and elegant. The staff seemed friendly, and the place has a high-​end atmosphere. When I walked in, my stylist, Souson, was waiting for me and she got me in the chair right away. I had booked her for highlights and a cut. The quality of Souson’s service really blew me away. She was very thorough and attentive; checking my color as it developed, checking the cut, and insisting on styling it for me afterwards. I have very thick, very curly, blonde hair, and I had not been for a cut or color for a while… This was no easy job, but Souson obviously had a lot of experience. I will go back to Edge, and I would recommend Souson to anyone!

I take my 14 year old son here. He’s picky about his hair and the barbers really take their time to do things right. In about 20 hair cuts only one was iffy. Loved every other one.

I have come to get my hair done 4 times by «Q» and I absolutely love her energy, her work and dedication. I always make last minute apts and she always fits me in, she even came in on her day off to take care of me and last saturday came in 2 hrs before opening to do a friend of mine. She is the Stylist, I think the Mgr, the Secretary etc. her load seems very heavy on such busy days like Saturdays but she works it out and I have become a regular, I’ve even brought my daughter. As long as shes there, I will continue to visit this salon!

I have been getting my hair cut every month at EDGE for almost 2 years now. When we moved to the area I was looking for a clean, friendly, reasonably priced place to be able to book an appointment every month and get a great haircut. From my first visit EDGE has been exactly that, and I have been back every month since. Hany is one of the best, most conscientious hair cutters that I have ever met, and Kevin the owner always makes everyone feel welcome.

My hubby bring our son here to get his hair cut. Very friendly people and clean shop. However, not totally kid friendly with all the «mens» magazines right there in plain sight. My littlest daughter saw one and said I want some of those when I grow up… guess what I saw when I looked down to see what she was referring to… yep! Of course, I just flipped the magazine over. The barbers there can cut some hair. They always do a good job on my sons head and no long waiting– just call to make an appointment… we always go back!

I take my wife and Lil Man here to get their haircut. Nate does a awesome job cutting both their hair. The staff here are all friendly and very talkative. Love every minute there. You can take the time and look at the game while you wait.

Have been going here for convenience scheduled an appointment for my son and myself every two weeks. When we went on our scheduled day they tell me that only my son had an appointment and I would have to wait or come back another day? I couldn’t believe what they told me and how unprofessional they acted a mistake on their side and I have to pay for it? I would suggest going someplace else…

This is a great place. I had a keratin done by Niki and my hair is so silky straight it’s almost unreal. I love it! The environment is warm and friendly, everyone is just lovely.

Made an appointment for my son this past weekend. When we arrived, they told us that they had scheduled someone who did not cut hair and only shaves heads. They would not place him with anyone else and told us to come back Tuesday.
Well, we have school and other activities which is why we go on errands like this on a weekend. So, when they refused to accomodate us and honor the appointment they made, they put us in a real bind. And, they showed no remorse for the trouble.
We will not be attempting to go back — there are plenty of places in the area that actually care for their customers.

Nice establishment and friendly staff. I only get my haircut by my man Henny, he is super professional and always does a great job. I always feel swagged out after coming here lol.

I’ve lived in VA for over a year now (implant from Philly) and have been to three barbers before landing at Blad’z. Recommended by a friend/​co-​worker I decided to check them out. I’m pretty picky when it comes to barbers and the overall experience; and so far these guys have exceeded my expectations.
Blad’z is a uni-​sex shop that still have a barber feel and the perks of having a salon right there if you are into getting your hair shampooed after a cut.
I’ve been coming here for several months so far and don’t see that changing anytime soon. The owner is great and he has a great team! The shop is clean, pleasant and fun. His customer base is broad, from professionals, families, athletes… and all appear to be happy regulars.
Come check this place out but make your appointment first. Business is good.

I called the salon to make an appointment for a Friday evening and I was told everyone was busy. Then I asked for Saturday and was told the same thing. Then the receptionist told me to hold and she will double check. She said Nancy could see me and I was a little hesitant so I asked if she was used to doing ethnic hair. The receptionist reassured me that she was so I made the appointment. When I arrive the place is dead on the salon side so I am really confused because I know what a booked shop looks like so that was the first warning. Nancy bless her heart was nice as can be but she looked as if she had no clue what to do with me. I am a very simple girl. All I require it a shampoo & conditioner, blow out and flat iron… simple! She mastered the first half but had no clue how to flat iron my hair, which is the most important part. I really recommend that the owner schedule training classes for the stylist because they all look like that could use some training.

I’ve been looking for a good, clean, reliable barber shop with reasonable rates. After living in N. VA for 3 years, I finally found it. I called late in the morning on Sat and they gave me an appointment at 4:00 that same day. When I arrived I was greeted promptly by a courteous employee, checked in and provided the name of the stylist I was given when I phoned that morning.
Since I was a good 15 minutes early, I seated myself in the comfortable waiting area. I immediately noticed how clean and attractive the place was.
At precisely 4 o’clock, my barber, Plus, came out to get me. He was very polite and friendly and he asked me the usual questions like where did I live, where was I from, what was my past haircut experiences, etc.
I was more than pleased with the outcome: my haircut was perfect! And the price was right — $ 20. Can’t beat that with a stick.
This place better stay around for a good long while because it is definitely my one and only barber shop!

I could write TWO reviews about Blad’z, one for myself and one for my son. Just took him today to get a fauxhawk from Plus+ and as always– he did a fantastic job. He was ready to go when we arrived for our appointment, and a true pro from start to finsh. He faded it in so smoothly, shaped up the edges with precision– there’s no question that The Boy’s hair was cut by a skilled professional. Plus+ shows a lot of pride and talent in his work and I am thrilled that we found him. AWESOME barbershop experience– just AWESOME.
For myself, Nikki has done my hair twice now and I love how healthy it looks and feels. On my last visit she cornrowed it in a really artistic and gorgeous style, and I received tons of compliments on it. But that was just the gateway to the style that I really love and was going for: a big, body-​ful mane of wild curliness. When I removed the cornrows, it looked so great I was accused of having a weave. That’s the BEST compliment yuo can give ANY woman’s real hair! Another true professional, Nikki is efficient, on time, and an amazingly talented stylist whom I trust and would refer to anyone of any race for a beautiful ‘do.
The shop itself is clean and warmly decorated. Sweet soul music sets the tone for this hip salon, and I think all of the stylists must do each other’s hair because they ALL have styles that you point at and say– do THAT to MY hair. So glad Blad’z is in Ashburn– they have what it takes to be the premier salon and barber shop in Loudoun County!
