I hired Good Grubbin’ to truck cater our corporate lunch event and we couldn’t be more pleased with the high level of service and the quality of the food. Their team was extremely accommodating in creating the menu and planning the flow of serving {none of our 85 employees had to wait!} our staff. Each of the four menu offerings we had were fresh and tasty — yum to the shrimp & lobster wrap! We were very impressed with the way the handled our crowd. We’d definitely hire them again!

I legitimately feel ripped off. I ordered the $ 10 fish tacos and quantity and quality were both lacking, big time. The tacos were actually a single tortilla wrap that was cut in half. The contents of this wrap were cabbage, cooked onions, guacamole, and some fish. Served with white rice. The fish tasted bad, a lot like catfish in my opinion. I couldn’t finish it, and had to find a second lunch. I can only hope that this was an out of the ordinary occurrence for GG, but it’s enough of a betrayal that I won’t ever go back.

I tried the veggie lasagne and the veggie stew. I appreciated that they have veggie as well as meat options available. Something for everyone. The stew tasted like something Mom used to make — hearty and full of flavor and nutrition. The lasagne was fantastic — the onions and cheese melded together perfectly. It was delicious and satisfying. And the price was very reasonable. I will follow them on Twitter to make sure I can find them again when they are nearby.

My friends and I found the Good Grubbin’ truck on Boone avenue in Tysons Corner on Tuesday. They had already settled on lunch from another truck, but I’m so glad I went to this one! When I brought my chicken fajita back to the car and opened the tray, it vented such a delicious smell into the car everyone sighed. :) I think they’ve made some changes since the first reviewer went — the chicken fajita is about the size of a sandwich wrap now, cut into two pieces and laid on a bed of delicious yellow rice. The green mole sauce is fantastic, and it’s got plenty of chicken and cheese inside, too. Next time, I’m going back for the BBQ pork sandwich, which smelled amazing while I was waiting for my fajitas. Or maybe the steak fajitas… The folks inside the truck are really nice, too. Give them a try!!! :)

These guys are just starting out. The owner was a cool dude. He came out of the truck to let me know they just started and gave me a friendly handshake. I found them out on Boone and Howard out in Tysons Corner. I try food trucks because 1) I like to try different eats 2) I like to support these guys as Im very interested in the business. I tried the Chicken Fajita. I guess I expected a big fajita but it was 4 small ones and I must say I was left still hungry. It was 4 fajitas with guacamole, cheese, sauteed onions on top of a bed of ice berg lettuce… not sure what that was. But it was 9 bucks. A bit pricey for the small Fajitas. I have been to other food trucks and spend the same amount with much more food. The Fajita was kind of regular nothing really stood out. I was really wanting to give it a higher ranking as they were cool dudes. But I wanted more flavor. maybe the steak is better. I will try them back once they work to improve the menu and I will update as well.
