I just wanted to give an update– I am still loving Monica! Here are some pics from my amazing bob after ombré color!

After searching the internet for a hair extension stylist, I discovered Monica’s styleseat photos. Since Monica’s prices were extremely fair, I gathered she was worth taking a chance on. Two years later, I have no regrets. For my first appointment, I initially sent Monica a photo of my hair so that she could match the extensions. She matched the color perfectly and curl pattern was pretty close. Monica does a great job blending the hair with my own. My preference is to add extensions for volume and to keep the length closer to my own. No one knows I wear extension. When I’m home for the holidays, they don’t have a clue. I would probably tell my sisters, but one of them can’t keep a secret. Anyway, Monica also does my keratin treatment as well. I love this treatment because it helps loosen my tight curly hair.
Monica’s salon is extremely clean and private. When she schedules an appointment, she only works on one client at a time. You won’t run into anyone, i.e., your friends, colleagues, or strangers. She’s not distracted by anyone or anything when styling your hair. You have her complete attention. Therefore, it’s best to email her if you want to schedule an appointment. She will respond as soon as she’s available.

Overall, if you looking for new stylist, Luxe Studio is the place to go. I honestly don’t think anyone can match Monica’s professionalism, skills, prices, and her great persona. She’s really a very nice person.

Luxe studio is a 5 star professional studio. No waiting and personal service in a clean and comfortable salon environment. Monica rescued my damage and boring hair style. The products and techniques she used have made my hair healthy again. Her unmatched ability to blend the natural and weaved hair looks absolutely flawless. Over the past year, she has worked with me to find the right hair style/​textures and color combinations. I receive compliments daily!

I have never been to this salon but purchased two deals for it from
. I called for three weeks with no answer, and the voicemail was always full so I could not leave a message. After finally getting through, I asked whoever answered the phone if I could make an appt for two people for a mani/​pedi and she told me there was nothing until after Thanksgiving. I asked her if there was anything she could do as I had been trying to make an appt for the last three weeks and she said only if there was a cancellation. I advised her that in the future it would be more professional to at least allow customers to leave messages and she was extremely rude. After getting off the phone she texted me three times, even looking me up and sending me my own name and e-​mail address (not sure why?). I then called back, with again no answer. I texted asking them to call me, and she replied saying she could only text or email. Texting me was very unnecessary and she was extremely rude throughout, both on the phone and over text. I was really looking forward to going there because other people had given it such good reviews but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

After deciding to get a «pixie» cut I found Monica looking for all options to fix a haircut that just was not me. I looked to Unilocal and google and saw great reviews and pictures and I needed to see for myself. Unilocal did not lie nor did the pictures she put on Instagram & Facebook. I am blown away as are my friends, family, and co-​workers. First off, Monica consulted with me about every step of the process and maintenance. There are not any surprises. I am an extension virgin, and my hair blonde! I needed a bit of hand holding. She also has an amazing personality, you feel like you have known her forever. She makes you feel right at home. The extensions matched perfectly with my hair color as well. I too was shocked! I went from pixie to high maintenance past my shoulder long hair in 3.5 — 4 hours!

I’m reserving the 5^th star for after my first maintenance appt and seeing how my new ‘do holds up, but so far I’ve been extremely happy! My hair looks full, natural healthy and fun– exactly what I asked for, Monica made it happen. She’s very professional and talented. I was nervous since it was my first time getting any weaving done, and everything she told me to expect has happened– from it settling in and looking even MORE natural after a few days, to my own hair blending in seamlessly.
Her salon is clean and welcoming and a FAR CRY from several other local places that do ethnic hair weaves. SO glad I found her and LOVE LOVE LOVE my look!
Update, two months later, still looking simply fabulous and natural, people are shocked to hear that it’s not all my own hair! She does a beautiful job on the upkeep and I can’t lie, I love the compliments I get from friends and strangers alike. Fabulous.

This is my first weave ever and I am so fortunate that it was with Monica. I have healthy, relaxed, shoulder length hair, so I did a lot of research before getting a weave, because I didn’t want any damage. Monica is absolutely amazing and could easily work in any high end celebrity salon. My hair continued to look fabulous even after I washed and styled my own hair. She also provided products that makes caring for your hair a no brainer. You cannot go wrong choosing Monica to do your microlinks. Side note: the microlinks took some adjusting to while sleeping. However, sleeping on a foam pillow helped me.

I’m so glad I found Monica. She does an amazing job with my hair and thoroughly understands what I’m looking for. She works with your budget and always gives you the best personal hair service. I hope she stays in this business for awhile because I will be lost without her! Thanks Monica!

I have been through too many hair stylists in the DMV area. The ones I met just weren’t the right fit. Then I met Monica. She not only listens to you and gives you the style you want, she is a true professional. The other difference between Monica and every other stylist is she takes on one client at a time. No more waiting for your stylist to finish the other four clients she booked for the same appointment time! She’s just, well, the bestest!

Great Service, Great Salon Great Great Great. I Love My Microlinks weave. Checked other salons and the prices and service could not compare. My stylist Monica is truly the best
