I have been going to Next Phase Fit for two months. The workout is fantastic and I love that classes are offered throughout the day. I can go before or after work based on my schedule. Doug and his crew are knowledgeable and supportive to all levels of fitness. The workout is ‘high intensity interval training’ HIIT with about 30 minutes total of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training and Pilates. The heart rate monitor allows you to work out in the zone that is perfect for you. An average workout for me burns about 450 calories/hr with additional 225 calories burning off in the ‘after burn’ stage. So each workout nets me about 650 calories. I am 49 years old, but because the workout is adaptable, my 15 and 16 year old athlete sons can join me in any class! It’s awesome!

Next Phase Fitness is a great studio. It’s good for anyone of any fitness level. The workouts are challenging(in a good way!), but they can be adapted for different abilities and the instructors are helpful in doing that! There is a wide range of exercises and equipment, which means you rarely if ever get the same exact workout twice. It keeps it interesting(especially with equipment most other studios don’t have, like the punching bags and the monkey bars), and it’s a motivator to keep going back.
