I wanted to take the time to write a review of Quality — Carpet One in Ashburn VA to help others with hardwood flooring. I didn’t know who to call and my realtor suggested Carpet One. My salesperson, Saham met with me at the store and then came to my house for measurements for an estimate. Initially I was only going to purchase some prefinished Bruce flooring to match what the builder had installed but they had a sale on solid oak stairs and risers so I also asked him to price that out too. My biggest concern in using any company was that I didn’t want any headaches. It is like anything else you never know what you are going to get until it is done. My experience was very positive and because of that, I’m going back to them to get a kitchen backsplash estimate. I ended up having two different Bruce flooring products installed and the solid oak stairs and risers. They checked the moisture content of the new flooring and my sub-floor when they delivered the flooring and the installation manager came out and checked it again before they started to make sure I wouldn’t have problems with expansions and contraction. The installation crew did an excellent job and I was comfortable with them right from the start. They worked hard to get the job done quickly and did some extra things that took a little more time but was just the right thing to do. A good example was I needed a transition piece of trim installed between a room with carpet and the new wood flooring. The length of the opening was about 12 feet and the transition pieces came in 7 foot lengths. They took the time to make the extra cuts to divide it equally. It’s a small thing but those are the thing you notice. I am 100% satisfied with all of the flooring and my beautiful solid oak stairs and hope this helps others. I wish I had the opportunity to post some pictures because they really did a great job.

I’ve had hardwood flooring installed by Quality Carpet One on the main level of my townhome. While we had some major issues with the quality of their product, installation and workers, management promised to make things right when we got to our basement renovations. Despite giving them a second chance, they were unable to deliver. We ended up going with Home Depot and Lowes and had MUCH better experiences and MUCH better prices.
