Sport Bounce of Loudoun

Good size for a younger kids bday party as you can keep track of the kids. We ordered pizza at Rubinos and it was awesome. The ice cream cake from“Maggie Moos” was decorated nicely but the cakes from Carvel, Coldstone and Baskin Robbins are way better. The party host did a great job and overall it was a great party experience. My older child wants her bday there now too :)

Well, I lost my original review… The hosts here cannot communicate, they lack supplies, can’t find pizza cutters, can’t distribute pizza or cake properly nor efficiently, food overpriced, your party is combined with others and others that are «pay per bounce», they rush you out the door, etc., etc. I would not host a party here again.

Attended a Birthday Party for a friend’s kid at Sport Bounce of Loudoun. This place does have enough bounce equipment for kids older than 2, but I would watch my 2 year old as the slides do look challenging for a 2 year old. Plus there are always older kids running around and it is best to be vigilant and avoid a collision.
The kids did have a good time (so did I going down a few slides). But the condition of the equipment is sub par at best — many of the bounce equipment have holes or the outer surface is frayed or spliced; so you can hear and feel the air leaking thru the holes. This let to some of the bounce equipment losing some integrity and would sag a bit more than ideal situations.
Also, the staff is generally not interested in assisting you and busy among themselves behind the counter.
Management needs to fix/​replace the equipment ASAP to improve the condition of this place.

Would give them 3.5 stars. I am a nanny and have brought kids here several times. The kids absolutely enjoy themselves, so there is no issue there. You just have to make sure you are running around behind them because the staff does not supervise (not a big deal for me, I don’t mind following them around, but just know that staff isn’t watching them). They have a little coffee bar for parents to «relax while the kids play» but I wouldn’t. Drinks aren’t very good and there are like 6 seats. But what can you expect from a bouncy house coffee bar, right?
Overall it’s a fairly cheap and fun place for the kids on a school holiday or rainy day. Give em a try!

My kids love this place. Plenty of bounce equipment. Spacious, airy… not musty like some bounce house places. Coffee and snack bar. Play room with a rock climbing wall and teeter totter.

We had a lot of fun here today. The place was really clean which I appreciate as my 10 month old is crawling everywhere. My reserved 3 year old LOVED the giant pillow! I think maybe the only thing I might like to see is more employees out on the floor checking in. At Pump It Up they are maybe too involved but here they were nonexistent.

We have enjoyed our visits. The kids love all the inflatables and the hand crank train. Music playlist can use a little editing. A few not clean edits on the ipod.
Birthday parties are great but having to pay their overpriced food and drink prices are a major turnoff and knocked them down two stars.
Open play is fine, you can bring your own food.

I have a 2 and ½ yr old little girl with A LOT of energy and I’m always looking for new places to take her out to and wear her out. This place was perfect. What to expect
–When you walk in it is $ 10 per child
–Socks must be worn in order to play
–Parents can play with their kids but also MUST wear socks
–there are cubbies for your shoes
–a small wall for rock climbing perfect for kids 2 – 6 years old
–a small car on a track that goes around while they pedal (my daughter LOVES this one, parents can also push them to go faster) goes in a circle
–a play area with bouncy balls, big puzzle blocks, hula hoops, funky mirrors (it’s not SUPER huge but enough space for kids and a great chance for parents (like me) who are running around playing with their child to catch their breath!
–a total of 7 moon bounces, 2 being BIG slides
Pros: kids LOVE this place, plenty of room, pretty clean, colorful, decent price, plenty of parking, benches for parents everywhere
Cons: parents are the supervisors and some times kids get nasty, not waiting their turn, pushing running (mainly the older kids) and although it is the PARENTS job to keep their kids in line you can’t trust they will, most are too busy burying their faces into their phones so keep your head up and watch out for your own! (this is worse case scenario which has only happened once when it was full)
took the day off on a weekday and they had open house from 11:30am –1pm which worked out GREAT for us that day, there were only 6 other kids there and they are ran wild and free having a blast, my daughter loved it so much i wanted to take her on an evening when I normally can but they don’t have Open house hours every day and sometimes I can’t make it the thursdays when they do, weekends are for reserved parties.
Wish they had Open house more often during evenings at least on weekdays.
Great place, friendly staff, OH! if you don’t have socks they do sell you a pair for $ 1
I will DEFINITELY go back time and time again :)

Who wouldn’t love Sport Bounce? My kids love it here and it wears them out which makes for one happy momma! Perfect for those cold, rainy or even too hot days to make it out! Check it out!

Just went here today for the first time. I thought it would be a great place for my 18 month old to get his energy out indoors today since it’s so rainy outside. And their website clearly states that they have a moonbounce and a playroom for kids 18 – 24 months-​, so I wouldn’t have to worry about crazy kamikaze unsupervised older kids jumping on my little one. This was actually the reason why I chose this place, because of a separate play area. Apparently this is not a rule that anyone pays attention to, and I don’t blame them, it’s not posted anywhere and there is no staff in the play areas to monitor anything. I picked up several kids ages 3+ and moved them after they trampled over my son in the supposedly «exclusive» under 2s playroom.
Also the website states no outside food is to be brought in due to food allergies. My son found peanut butter cereal in someone’s stroller tray and stuck it in his mouth before I could grab it from him. We’re lucky, he’s fine with PB, but I just thought it was gross that he ate some random kid’s spit covered leftovers. And I noticed a parent had a can of an energy drink they were nursing and leaving on a bench when they weren’t drinking it. Can you imagine if someone’s kid had taken it?! And the drink was in plain sight of the only staff member I saw, so I’m guessing there are stated rules, but really it’s just mayhem and anyone does whatever. And it was beyond crowded, so weaving through crowds of parents and kids chasing after my very excited and speedy toddler was not fun.
It’s a nice place, clean, fun, lots of stuff to do. But it’s not good for little ones, and if your kid has food allergies, forget it. Maybe when my son’s 3 I’d be ok with him going back, when he’s big enough to take on one of those little s*%&s that jumps on top of him.

although the place is very clean and has a nice complement of «moon bounces» and slides, the 2 hour party format is enforced much too strictly and in much too rude a manner.
1. In the weeks leading up to our party, we received a number of emails from Sports Bounce about the size of our party what options we wanted (e.g. pizza, soda, cake, party trays, etc.). We responded to the emails we received in a timely manner, but a number of times we received the same email again from Sports Bounce asking for the same information. They seem to be very disorganized about who is keeping track of the information for each party.
2. When we arrived on the day of the party, the spot for our party was not yet ready and the «coordinator» was not very helpful with telling us that our party could starting playing on the equipment. This made us loose 15 to 20 minutes of our strictly regulated «play time.»
Sport Bounce holds two parties at one time. For the first hour, one party has pizza, while the other party plays on the equipment. After one hour, the two parties switch places.
Our party (of three year olds) played first and then eat pizza second. 30 minutes into eating pizza one or two of the kids in our party, including the birthday boy, wanted to go back on the slides. When our kids got «caught» playing during the second hour they and their parents were treated very rudely by the Sports Bounce staff. One staff member came over to my wife and started to scream at her, that she needed to stop ONE child from playing on the slides, since it was no longer our party’s play times. They definitely didn’t treat us like paying customers… and let me tell you we paid a lot for the party.
3. The staff helps you to serve the food (pizza, soda, and cake), but they do it in such a rushed and forceful way, that it ruins the feeling of the party and makes you feel like all they care about is getting you out of there as quickly as possible.
4. A number of our guest mentioned these problems to us as well.

I attended a bday party here with my son for my nephew. The manager was not pleasant and would not allow a crying a child a little more bouncing during the 2^nd hour, cake and pizza time, of the bday party. She said «Do you know how many kids cry here?» The open bounce time may be good but for birthdays having a bunch of kids watching other kids play when they can’t after eating cake is not a good way to organize things. One hour of bouncing was not enough for the kids.

It’s amazing to me that no one else has rated this place — it must be a well-​kept secret in Northern Virginia! I used to live in Charlotte where they have Monkey Joes, which is similar to Sport Bounce, but Sport Bounce is quite a bit smaller. You’d have to know exactly where you’re going as you would never stumble across this place by accident — it’s tucked away in an industrial/​warehouse park off Loudoun County Parkway a bit past the Wegman’s. My only complaint is that they don’t have more Open Bounce times — they reserve most of their open hours for parties.
There are one or two Open Bounce times during each day, but the only evening that is open to the general public is Thursday from 6 – 8. I went there last night for the first time, expecting it to be packed since it’s the only open evening, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was not crowded at all and the children were not on top of each other — my son only had one head bonk with another child which I consider a success! I believe there were 7 inflatable features, including two VERY large slides, a large bouncy house, and two obstacle courses with small/​medium slides at the end. There are also two rooms filled with a few random toys for breaks or smaller children who are not ready to bounce. There are two areas set up with picnic tables which are intended for the parties but are a nice place to sit while your children play if they don’t need constant supervision — they even provided magazines.
Socks are required but they sell them for $ 2 each in case you forget. I noticed them enforcing this rule for one parent who was not wearing socks, but found them reasonably lenient regarding other rules about not sliding down head-​first, etc. The website says the cost is $ 10 per child (no charge for adults), but they charged me $ 8. I notice they are offering a coupon on Unilocal for $ 2 off, and all siblings get $ 2 off in normal pricing. I thought that was a great deal for 2 hours of exhaustive bouncing, my son slept like a baby!
This is a great indoor activity for kids of all ages, I will definitely be back frequently and would consider it for a future birthday party!

I love this place and so does my two year old. We come here to get some exercise and to have a good time and we always do! The place is clean and the moonbounces are never really full of kids so it’s pretty safe. It’s always best to stay with your child though to make sure they aren’t getting hurt. My son loves the smaller bounce with the slide. He could spend all day in there!
We never had a party there so I’m not sure how well the staff is with that but everytime we go in they are friendly and helpful. Great place to go with your kids!
