The Grove At Flynn’s Crossing

I am glad me and my husband moved here. aside from being more affordable rent, the neighborhood is nice and friendly. staff are nice and maintenance guys are always helpful when we have emergency especially. They always keep the area clean. I definitely recommend this place.

The staff and maintenance are very nice and pleasant to deal with. There is a Giant and a Home Depot and a few eateries across the street along w/​a movie theater. That you can walk to if needed. The Apts are nice and the area is nice. The only thing I wish is that they would hire someone to clean the buildings every day and the trash bins as well. Cause for some reason the tenant’s seem to leave trash on the floor instead of putting in the bins, for all to stumble and fall from their trash bags.. As well as the recycle. Speed bumps a must as well. Some flags are being hung out the windows and balconies and its starting to make the development look a little unpleasant. I hope they address that. And the last thing to say about being here I would like management to be more stern and put out notices on all these concerns, to its tenant’s about driving here like it is a speed way, hanging flags and making the apts look clean in the surrounding area. Cause maintenance can not do it all. We as tenants should chip in and do our part as well, in keeping the buildings clean. As well as putting the trash and recycle where they go. Other than that its a very nice place to live in. If anything the staff alone wants to make you live here cause they are that nice, the best I have encountered ever in all of my apartment living.

Great place to live… Quiet and affordable. The ladies in the office are super nice and take care of any concerns right away, maintenance come when you need them too!
The grounds of the property are kept maintenance clean., (grass is cut, trees and hedges are pruned). I see the maintenance team do their best with the cleanliness of the property as well.
Some things are beyond maintenance and staff’s control… It’s up to us as residents to help maintain a beautiful place to live by doing our part too!
The residents could do better with cleaning up after their dogs and keep them on a leash and putting their trash in the proper locations (Inside the dumpsters NOT all over the ground and around it)
Parents need to advise their children to put trash in the proper containers also and some of the grown up’s need to lead by example.
Tenants that have children could also be mindful and respectful of others living in apartments next to or below them «Stop Stomping!»
And most importantly tenants and their guest need to slow down when driving through the parking lot and to pay special attention to kids that may be walking across the parking lot or playing, by stopping at the stop signs and slowing down!
The county should really consider putting speed bumps throughout the parking lot, especially at the stop signs and entrance both entering and exiting, before someone runs a kid over! They should probably add a few more stop signs at that front entrance, it sure couldn’t hurt!
Parking could be better and tenants need to respect other people’s cars in the parking lot (I’ve gotten a few scratches on my car since I’ve been here).
so now I park my car way in the back away from others! Oversized vehicles and work van’s should NOT be allowed to park in the front, they should be made to park in the back where the pool is.
And although maintenance is good anyone that has to enter the apartments should knock more then once and give a few minutes for a response before walking in.
I was coming out of the shower robing when the exterminator opened the door before allowing me to get to the door, how embarrassing!
«That doesn’t mean bang on the door and scare the hell out of people either»! Just be patient and give someone a chance to get to the door before entering.
And lastly… The people that came out to clean the carpets NEVER AGAIN! My carpet is stiff, and bulky in some areas, It looks and feels rough! I don’t know what chemical they used but it ruined the carpets plushness.

Parking totally Sucks. Management has no control over parking as there are lots of illegal (without permit) cars, van even scooter parked all over the parking lots. You have to park very far distance from your apartment if you arrive home after 5 PM.
Speaking about assigned parking, there are none as told my management. Sad but true, both Manager and assistant manager who also lives in the same apartment has their own assigned parking spot for their family. I still can’t figure how this is fare.
Maintenance is ok as they respond same day or next, but there were many time failed to fix the right components and didn’t respond to a call.
Yes the management team is nice and helpful, specially they hear your complain and try to take action. But at time they get easy on the tenant, where they (tenant) takes advantage and do ghetto stuff.
The fitness room is pretty outdated and sometimes people hanging around there for non fitness reason (watch TV), which makes it very uncomfortable for someone visiting there at night.
Noise depends on where is your apartment located, but sometimes gets very noisy at the parking lot.
Overall its a Ok place to live since its pretty close to many things. But serious management need to be fair about Parking, specially when they are the one taking advantages of it.

The Apartment complex is conveniently located near a grocery store, shopping and restaurants. Easy access to Dulles Toll Rd and Loudoun County Parkway. Management is friendly and helpful. Maintenance guys are awesome, same day service! Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly.
