Place was terrible. I will tell all the local moms of brambleton this place is not for kids because of how the staff acts and speaks. Don’t recommend coming takes at least a hour to get your food!

Great place for the family. Staff is friendly and very laid back to spend time with the family. Food is very good.

Took my sons and their friends there today, and once again we were not disappointed! The food, service, staff and games keeps all of us coming back! Got the chance to meet the owner today and could tell how much pride he has in his business. We use to go to a Dave and Busters before we moved here, but the food and service are so much better at the Zone! Happy to have a place to go that we enjoy coming to as a family!

Wish I could give zero star. Horrible horrible service!!! Took us more than half an hour to get a beer. I heard the food and drinks are good but I can’t comment as I did not even get a menu card even after repeatedly asking the server for it. The servers are clueless but I don’t blame them because the management sucks!!!

This is definitely a cool concept but the food service and food quality was VERY lacking. We didn’t receive all of our food and one meal was super dry. Plus the food came out in sections instead of all together. Not a first pick for us that’s for sure.

This place was much needed in Ashburn. It is like a mini Dave & Busters. It has plenty of arcade games, bowling, and laser tag. The pizza is probably their best menu item. It is a good location to host after work happy hours. I’d say their biggest issue is their wait staff. They are not very attentive and will be caught on their phones throughout the evening. If you are old enough I highly suggest sitting at the bar. The bartenders are much more attentive and you will receive better service.

We took all 4 kids to The Zone on Saturday after hearing about the one year anniversary specials. A little false advertising I would say– and we were super disappointed. We purchased the all day passes but we’re not told that yellow tickets and birthday parties get first priority. We played once and the rest of the day was sold out. Our kids were upset and we won’t be back for that reason. Food took FOREVER and with 4 kids– not good.

Appetizer sampler was amazing, I was pleasantly surprised. Service and entrees left much to be desired however. The waitress was almost nonexistent, even though there were only two other tables in the restaurant and they appeared to be way over staffed. My boyfriend got a bleu burger which he said was a little dry(but I blame him – who orders a burger well done), and the blackened chicken wrap was just blah. I’m not sure if the spices and varying tastes from the sampler had dulled my tastebuds or what… but even so after the appetizer I was expecting to be thrilled by the entrée. Like I said it just wasn’t there for me. I would go back and order the shrimp appetizer, house made chips, wings, and french fries and call it a day!

I went here for my friends birthday today. We were a group of about 25 and every single person had a great night. Laser tag was amazing! They have a $ 20 unlimited laser tag special on weekdays which was totally worth it! Our friends who didn’t play laser tag chose to bowl instead and the rest were drinking at the bar. They had options for everyone in the group including laser tag, bowling, arcade games and a full bar. Besides the location(we live in Fairfax) being a little inconvenient for us, we will definitely be back here soon. The staff was very accommodating and provided great service!

Update 12÷2÷15 Several bad past experiences have been redeemed by a spectacular experience tonight. Mallory did a simply superb job serving us. We’ll be back! — The food is good. I’ve tried serves of their items — once I received them — and they were pretty tasty. However the service totally stinks. Servers walking by ignoring tables that obviously have no drinks or empty plates. Good luck getting their attention unless you physically approach them. I’ve even stood at the host stand and had several of them walk by, apparently hoping I was someone else’s problem. I live in the apartments attached to the Zone so I had high hopes. However, after 4 separate horrible experiences I won’t be back. It shows promise, it just needs a better waitstaff. The games are limited and, as noted in other reviews, pretty pricy. Bowling is fun but it’s not a regulation length lane by any stretch of the imagination.

Came here for drinks, some games, and laser tag. Before anything, I want to thank Lester who was not only friendly and helpful, but also super cool! Knowing that it was our first time here, he gave us a thorough walkthrough of how to use the game card and everything. He even showed us how to play a few of the games and gave us some nice tips! Way to go above and beyond for customer service. I was pretty impressed with their staffing overall. From bartenders to the lasertag team marshall to the staff at the ticket stand, they were all courteous and happy to help! It’s also a place where adults AND kids can have fun. Drinks were mehh, way too strong and kind of lost its yumminess. They did not have as many arcade games as I initially imagined(compared to D&B or chuckeecheese), but they have the basics, and they’re not too expensive. The place doesn’t charge you for the game card, and all you have to do is recharge whenever. You can also use the card at the bar! Talk about making things convenient. Laser tag was fun but basic, no glitches, complex maze! Your score is associated with the vest you wear, which has a designated nick name.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food at The Zone. Usually you go to places like this for the games, to keep the kids happy and the food is generally ok but nothing great. This place is not like that, I would go there just to eat the games are just a bonus. The gaming area isn’t huge but it’s a good size, I have big and small kids, they all had a good time. I like the fact it’s not huge because it makes it easier to keep your eyes on the little ones.

Stopped by while walking through the town center waiting for a movie to start. I had heard about this place a few months ago, but decided to stop in and check it out. We came in around 9:30 p.m. on a Saturday, and it wasn’t packed but there were a number of people there. Walking through the doors brings you into the main lobby, where you’re flanked by bowling on the right and laser tag on the left, and the restaurant is dead ahead. We took a seat at the bar and were immediately greeted and had drinks in front of us not a minute later. The TVs on the wall were perfect for watching the fight while enjoying a beer, and the attentive bartender kept them coming. I can’t speak for the food, but the service was as great as the atmosphere if you’re looking to kick back a little. The drink prices weren’t crazy like many local spots. We took a look around the game room area on the way out and now I have another reason to go back! Hope this place sticks around.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kamal, the owner! He is fantastic. Gave me a fantastic tour of The Zone. I was surprised at how big The Zone actually is. It’s in a great location with ample parking. A family night, date night, boys night out, or girls getting together place! The food is wonderful and I love the bar area. If you enjoy bowling but not the typical bowling alley scene, you will love The Zone. Beautiful, upscale lanes with a warm inviting air to it. And the laser tag will knock your socks off!!! This is the place for laser tag! The arcade games are amazing!!! FUN! FUN! FUN!!! Kudos to Kamal!!!

I bought a groupon for laser tag and game cards, and took my family for laser tag and lunch. It’s got a nice arcade, I think all the games are $ 1. There aren’t a ton of games, but they are fun… air hockey, car races and motorcycle races, etc. They do laser tag games every 20 minutes, so it wasn’t long to wait. I have never played before but my family has. I had fun and my family said it was the best laser tag place they’ve been to. They liked it so much, after lunch they played a second game. I didn’t. I didn’t because it is $ 9 a game! I don’t know if that’s high or not, but it seemed like it. The menu was pretty good for a sports bar — sandwiches, soups, salads and a few entrees. I ordered Pasta Primavera(an entrée) and at first it was cold, and they brought me a fresh plate(it was not the same plate again — that did impress me), but it was aweful. It tasted like one of those frozen $ 2 meals you might microwave at home. Bleh. My family got a salmon BLT, a pizza, and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers looked like they had hard crusty batter and didn’t look appetizing to me, but it was a kids meal and the kid liked it. When the waiter asked how everything was, and I said mine was terrible, he had no response, and left.(He should have asked if he could bring me something else.) Another waiter saw I put my meal on the table beside mine, and asked if it was OK. I told him it was terrible tasting, he picked it up, said he was sorry and disappeared. A few minutes later a gentleman that introduced himself as the manager/executive chef came to the table to apologize, offered to bring me something else(at that point, my family was done eating), and then said he would take that meal off the bill and give us a $ 20 game card(we used that toward the second round of laser tag). I was impressed by him. Overall — I guess I’d give it 3 stars. My son wants to have his Bday party there, so I am sure we will be back.

Clean? Check Good food/drink? Check Awesome arcade games, laser tag, etc? Check Reasonably Priced? HELLNO! Better cash in your 401k first because most arcade games are $ 2 per play, some $ 4 per play. $ 9 per person for one game of laser tag. Crazy expensive. If you can find a good groupon, it’s definitely a nice place. But at standard prices it’s very expensive.

My football team of 7th/8th graders wanted to come here for our end of year party. I hadn’t even heard of the place but agreed to give it a go. I decided not to go with a party package due to the daunting costs, and instead just told the parents to send their kids with cash and we’d play around. We got there and they actually gave us a party room at no additional charge. Our host, Michael, was great, and really went above and beyond to help us. The kids all got different dishes, and everything was eaten and looked good. I got fish tacos, and they nailed all of my modifications. The kids played around the arcade for a bit. It definitely isn’t Dave and Busters, but they stayed busy. I’m not sure how it would have been if it was more crowded(this was a Monday at 6PM during a school week). All of the tickets are kept electronically which is a huge plus. Warning: they have games where you get SO close to winning an iPad, and all of a sudden, after one«AGH! ok, ONE more time…» after another, and having young kids make fun of your hand eye coordination, you are suddenly out of gaming bucks. Stay away! You can’t win!!! The one drawback I had was where I won 1000 tickets on a wheel thing(woo hoo!), and then had to wait until the tickets were added to my card… one by one by one. It took awhile. Laser tag was fun. It was an ancient mayan ruins theme. The kids all got«The Rookie» which, for $ 10, you get a game of laser tag and $ 5 in gaming bucks… it was a really good deal! Bowling was interesting… all of the bowling pins are on drawstrings. You can’t really get a good bounce from the pins, and nailing a 710 split is impossible. I had fun, though, especially since I beat all of my players handily. It ended up being $ 10 a person for a game, if I remember correctly… not terrible, but not a great deal. The prizes were lacking a bit, but all of the kids went home with a ton of candy and random stuffed animals(apologies to the parents of my team). I lost track of how much I spent(kids didn’t realize they had to tip, and therefore overspent on games, so it was a nice personal finance lesson)…probably too much, but it was a blast. I’ll definitely bring future teams here.

I took my visiting niece(age 6) and nephew(age 4) here thinking it would be fun to play some games and get some food. The games were a little too advanced for them. There aren’t many game options for little kids. They did skeeball, but after about 5 games, they quickly got bored. They tried other games, but they didn’t last long on most since they didn’t quite have the skills to grasp how to do them. The cards kept malfunctioning and the machines would say there wasn’t a balance on them, but then when using on another machine they would show the proper remaining balance. We went to the restaurant, which was very small. I don’t know how they would handle a busy Friday night. The food was forgettable. I had fish tacos, which were so flavorless. They came with a side of tartar sauce, but fish tacos I expect to have some cilantro, citrus and maybe avocado. They just didn’t come together. The fiancé had chicken pasta primavera which was drenched in sauce. Its like the pasta was floating in sauce and he said it was terrible. The kids had chicken tenders and well, they ate most of them which I suppose was a victory. Overall, I wouldn’t rush to come back. With my niece/nephew being so young, there just aren’t enough games to cater to them. The restaurant was small, the food wasn’t good, and visiting as an adult I might possibly hang out at the bar(but not to eat).
