I went to the topgolf restaurant for lunch and I was ignored for 15 minutes. Then the bartender laughed as I walked out. He said the price was too much for me and the other bartender laughed. I didn’t appreciate it and I will not go there ever again.

What a difference 6 months make. Came back to hit some golf balls and eat some good food. Haven’t been here in almost 6 months. The wait(1 hour) was surprising but hear from friends that this was the norm. However, after 2 hours, I was still waiting to get a bay and table. The registration was not pleasant. The host was short and abrupt and appeared to be offended that I asked questions. I was a returning customer and knew what was in the place so of course I would have questions on things to do as I waited for«1 hour» to be seated. They seemed more offended when I came back to ask how much longer I would have to wait… it was almost 2 hours. They must have lost of lot of the good, kind folks on their staff. The staff was not friendly today. Many I asked questions to answered with attitude and they didn’t want to provide customer service, help, or answer questions. They were more into talking to each other and holding the walls up. Not sure happened to this place. But it appears busy and flowing with customers. So business must be good. Customer service however sucks.

This place is fun, not only for golf players/fans! 3 floors with large high tech equipment filled bays, TVs galore, decent selection of clubs, good quality bar food and both indoor and outdoor bars! Disclaimer: if you spend over an hour here, which you most likely will, you will end up spending a chunk of change. Although you get unlimited balls for the hour, adding time, buying food and drinks will quickly add up. Otherwise, great spot for family and people of all ages.

Service SUCKS food SUCKS. I know it’s a golfing place but if you are going to serve food and drinks it should be decent. Food always comes out cold and takes probably 30 min. They cannot modify food items to make them vegetarian implying they aren’t made to order. Out of dessert items we wanted Hard to get bartenders attention. I think at a certain point she was embarrassed at how long food was taking. I won’t come back unless friends force me

Came out for my 30th birthday. Katii took great care of us as did the staff in the lobby, bar and bays. This is a top golf experience and great Top Golf. Special accolades to Duncan who made our day great.

Came here for my brother’s birthday and were not disappointed one bit. The games are a bit pricey but worth the good time! The food does take a time to come out but it is on point and somewhat worth the wait. Amongst the group, we ordered the buffalo chicken flatbread, crab melt sliders, the fried chicken burger and the injectable sundae dessert. Yummy!!! We’ll be back again for sure

Meh for sure. Can’t go further than that because it’s not easy to play golf at this glorified driving range. It’s a really nice facility, but it’s far from a great experience, beginning with the fact that they do not take reservations. You do get a nice bay with decent clubs and service for $ 25−45/hr, depending on the time of day. Doesn’t matter how many folks you have or balls you hit so 2 – 7 can play without crowding in one bay. The games went haywire and we had to restart them constantly, but it was cool to see a shot to the back fence or near a flag get registered if the computer sensor system worked properly. The servers were all really nice and speedy — and they had a dedicated person assigned to our group of 16 so that helped. We got there at about 10:15AM on a Saturday and were ready to play… but they weren’t ready for us to play. We had to join some imaginary club in order to play on our first visit. The staff suggested we register 12 people. This was an annoying delay and extra expense for the«lifetime» membership. They wanted our birthday, email, and phone #‘s in order to let us play. Um, no. Took forever and there was a line for this idiocy by the time we were done. Most of us didn’t pay for the membership but you need one person per bay you rent in order to play, so three of us bought the $ 6 lifetime membership for the privilege of visiting. One disappointing thing: the server asked the kids in our group if they wanted a pitcher of lemonade or sprite. The kids said yes, both, and they brought both out, without checking with parents. Then they refilled the pitchers, with a full, untouched one wasted at the end of the visit. Surprise, this feature wasn’t included in the hourly fee. I thought that was all a bit obnoxious. There are plenty of driving ranges in the area. This one’s A-OK if you have a group of adults who have memberships or Meh if you show up with a non-member group. The high school kids we know also note that they are not friendly to their employees, and that most do not last long. Not a good sign.

This is a bit of a mixed review. I went to this location on this past Sunday with 5 friends(6 total in our group). We had to wait for 15 min to get a bay but that was expected given the fact the place was pretty crowded. Once we got to the bay we ordered a round of drinks and a few appetizers/entrees — a few people didn’t know what they wanted so we told the server to come back for a second order that would include food for 3 of the remaining people. Those that ordered food first got their orders pretty quickly — less than 10 minutes I want to say. But the second order took over an hour and 2 times following-up with the server and kitchen to see if the order had been put in. After the second time checking with the kitchen the server said that the kitchen claimed the food went out but he understood that it never got to us — at this point we looked into the kitchen(we were sitting at a bay right next to the kitchen) and saw what looked to be our food waiting to be run out. We then saw the order come out to the wrong bay but stopped the food runner on his way back to the kitchen since we were pretty sure it was our order. It also took us almost an hour to get a round of waters — and when they did come out it was only 3 waters that we had to share between 6 of us. So overall the service was very bad. That being said the manager realized this without any of us having to say anything and took 25% off the check. We also had a young kid who I think had just gone through training — not sure the issues we experienced were actually his fault but that could have accounted for some of the miscommunication about where the order should go.

Better upgraded version of the old Topgolf in old town. However this place will ask you to buy a new card even if you already have a membership at the old place. This place charges hourly as compared to the old town one that charges based on the number of balls

What a fun experience! I came for my fiancé’s birthday party during Memorial weekend and I thought we would of had to wait maybe an hour and we ended up waiting 2 minutes for a bay on the 3rd level(seems like the most fun level). However, since it was a holiday weekend it might have been a short wait only because people were out of town. Any other weekend, I’ve been told the wait can be up to 2 hours. Let me tell you how it works so you won’t be as confused as me! If its your first time you have to go to the line(when you walk in on the far left) to get a «lifetime membership» card, which is $ 5. With this card you use it at your bay to check in and to play games. Now, let’s say you have many other people with you. IF you want everyone to play on their own name, everyone will need an individual card. If you don’t mind taking turns with other people on your name, then having one card for everyone is fine. In each bay, only 6 people can play at one time, with an individual card. After you’re done getting a card, you can go to concierge and can get the«VIP» pass which means its like a fast pass, its about $ 50 extra. If you already joined at any other Top Golf you can go straight to the other line which will say«if you already have a pass» you just need to ask for a bay. Also at the concierge you can ask to be on a certain level and they will text you when your bay is ready. Open to noon is $ 25/hr, Noon to 5pm is $ 35/hr and 5pm to close is $ 45. Yes very expensive but it’s fun especially if you have a lot of people going. You don’t have to pay for your duration right away you can pay at your bay and extend your time there. There’s different types of games you can play, I just do the normal Top Golf game. I would say a good number to have in your bay without feeling too crowded is about 8 people. Any more than that you’re going to have to keep moving around when it’s other people’s turn. Food is a must! You wouldn’t think the food is good but its so good here. It’s better than some restaurants. You HAVE to try the Asian Sesame wings. It’s actually big wings that are full of flavor, not small wings with no meat like BWWF. The chicken and waffles sandwich is also a favorite. They have your usual american food from wings to burgers to salads. Everyone was really nice from the membership line to concierge to the waiter at the bay. Robert was our waiter and he was awesome! Very attentive and got our drinks in a timely manner. I really enjoyed Top Golf and can’t wait to go back! Though it does get expensive, night time is the best time to go and 3rd level seems most fun!

A lot better than what I remembered about the Alexandria location. If its your first time here, the staff does a good job of showing you what to do. Its setup like bowling where you can have multiple people at a hitting bay and there are different games you can chose to play. For non-golfers, this seems to work very well as you don’t even need to bring clubs with you since they’re provided. As a golfer though, I was disappointed that the golf balls don’t fly as far as normal golf balls. I know my iron distances for each of my clubs and was consistently a half-club short. The targets are also very huge, so hitting them didn’t really give me too much satisfaction unless within 10 feet. But, overall, it was kinda fun. The food was actually pretty good and tasted freshly made. Chicken/waffle sliders come with syrup and white gravy to dip; otherwise its pretty dry. The chorizo/egg sliders were excellent, although not as dry as the chicken/waffle, it could use something to give it a little moistness.

I’ve been to top golf before and thought that it was a neat concept; casual, lounge like atmosphere where you can hit some balls freely or in certain game modes all while enjoying on some good sips and eats in good company. I’ve heard nothing about good things about this Top Golf in Ashburn and was skeptical at first, but now I stand corrected. This Top Golf took everything from the Alexandria location and improved on it, which I didn’t know was even possible. For starters, the place looks pretty! It’s a modern designed 3 story building that is very eye appealing, especially at night when it lights up, kind of reminded me of cosmic bowling with a club like atmosphere. Other improvements which I applauded was the fact that you don’t have to bring your clubs or rent balls, all you need to do is show up and rent out the space for hourly rates, which is genius, no more carrying balls and clubs around. Each golf space has a more intimate atmosphere with comfy couches and a closed off gate around it which can house a party up to six people. Keep in mind, when coming here, that you will most likely be waiting a while for you space. I came at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and we were required to wait 2& ½ hours, which I was totally fine with, since I can could leave and come back, and I had no other plans going on that day. It is totally fine though, make a day out of it with your party, go to the bar, eat some food, pregame on some drinks, lounge on the upstair rooftop, play pool, there are definitely others things to do to keep you busy while you wait for your hole. To review: this Top Golf is great, vastly improved upon the already great other locations. It can serve well for group of friends, birthday, date night, work group, or just about any other reason to get together. Just be open to the idea of waiting for a little bit and you’ll be on your way to a hole-in-one!

I’ve been here twice now and wish we lived closer so I could go back every weekend! Wish the service was a tad bit better. Lots of teenagers working and chatting it up which hey I get it, if it’s slow a small conversation won’t kill anyone, but if you’re clearly walking right by me in conversation with your coworker as I’m trying to get your attention — not cool. Food — Awesome. Their donut holes are delicious — raspberry Amazing! Golf — So fun! What a cool way to spend an afternoon or evening with friends and family.

What a fun day! We were going to come in for a party of 14 around 7pm on a Saturday but fortunately a coworker’s son works here and warned us that the wait times are astronomical Saturday night, so we ended up coming at 3. The wait for 2 bays next to each other was an hour and a half, and I’m pretty sure it was shorter than that. We waited at the bar and it seemed like the bartender was running a one man show which is really unfortunate and they should absolutely tack on another bartender, I felt bad for that guy. The whole setup is very nice! The lounge couches were extremely toasty from being under the heat lamps and I was in heaven curling up in the corner of them. Our waiter was on his game for such a large party and we really appreciated that. I tried a bunch of food so you don’t have to! Food: –Mushi rolls: very very good, I was confused about what they were but it’s basically all rolled into a tortilla that is cut into slices. Very yummy –Asian sesame wings: holy cow, they were easily the best wings I’ve ever had. They were HUGE, very meaty and juicy but the way they were cooked in a way I’ve never seen, the skin was extremely crispy but not in an over-cooked way… just so good!!! –Chips & guac: the guac was very very good, although not nearly enough of it –Turkey & avacado wrap: tried a bite of my friends wrap and it was very tasty and refreshing! Easily one of the lowest calorie options on the menu so guilt free! Drinks: –Orange dream: creamsicle style drink, but not the heavily creamy kind where it’s overpowering. It was like drinking a light orange juice with a hint of whipped cream. I liked it, surprisingly! –the specialty drink I tried had an odd name but it was essentially champagne with ginger beer and cranberry, quite delicious but not nearly enough alcohol! :) –Espresso martini: my friend got one and I tried a sip, it was delicious and I highly recommend! –Chip shot: not really sure what was going on here but we thought it was a shot but it was basically a spiked coffee or something, still really liked it! Just confused from the name. We had a blast and can’t wait to come back!

Great place for golfers of all levels, even if you haven’t played before. My boys(13&10) love playing here. The games are perfect for all levels and they just have fun. The food is very good, especially breakfast. My boys enjoy the chicken and waffle sliders for breakfast the best and their coffee isn’t bad at all either. The servers have all been friendly, helpful, and very attentive. The remaining Top Golf staff is also very helpful and friendly. You can play in any weather, even when it’s 25 degrees out because each stall is covered and has a heater to keep you toasty. I enjoy this place a lot more than I thought I would and I’m not a golfer, but I do know how play.

Lately, the Washington Capitals have been a really exciting team to watch. So when I went to this Top Golf with some friends hoping to watch the Caps game we found ourselves severely disappointed. The reason being that Top Golf doesn’t carry the local channels. That’s right, there’s no way to watch a DC sports team give this town a realistic hope of a championship for once. Also ordered a burger, I’ve had better… well pretty much anywhere. The service was decent, but definitely not wining any awards anytime soon. Just for reference, please peruse the attached: NHL Power rankings — Week 14 — Washington Capitals — Rank:1 So much to like about the NHL’s best team. Even with key regulars Brooks Orpik, John Carlson, Jay Beagle and Marcus Johansson injured or suspended, Alex Ovechkin(Mr. 501), Evgeny Kuznetsov, Braden Holtby, Nicklas Backstrom and Justin Williams keep the Caps rolling. They are 13−2−3 in one-goal games, the top winning percentage in the NHL NHL Power rankings — Week 13 — Washington Capitals — Rank:1 This was tough. The Caps have wobbled slightly since having their nine-game winning streak snapped last week, going winless(0−1−1) in two. But they are the cream of the NHL with the league’s top winning percentage and a lineup that is Stanley Cup-worthy from top to bottom, bottom to top. Watch for Alex Ovechkin’s assault on 500 goals this week. He’s at 496. NHL Power rankings — Week 12 — Washington Capitals — Rank:1 The Capitals continue to dominate while on a seven-game winning streak. They have earned at least one point in 15 of their last 16 games. Braden Holtby is leading the league with 22 wins and a 1.92GAA. He’s 14−0−1 in his last 16 games. The Capitals’ 54 points leads the East. Yeah, you should keep an eye on the Caps season, just know you can’t do it at Top Golf.

Omg! Can we talk about parking first? I think it is super nice theres valet for $ 5, if I knew they block off one third of parking lot for valet purpose, and had cash available, I would’ve but I didn’t have any cash. NOTENOUGHPARKINGSPOTS!!! and I saw at least 5 – 7 cars making circles with me but in different directions. There was a small line for valet as well(2 – 3 cars), most likely people who got tired of circling around and gave up on finding one. Good news is they do have ATMs so if you decide to valet, you can get cash inside and pay for transaction/ATM fee and valet fee $ 5 plus tips when you pick up your car. When we went downstairs to find out table, I must say I was surprised how modern, clean and lively it is inside. Downstairs, you go outside, they have small entertainment area with pool table, and others things as well. Bathrooms were very clean and well kept despite how many people are on the same level and theres only 3 stalls. Clean bathroom=happy customers :). Every station/area had flat screen tvs! Awesome computer screen to keep track of players, scores, and etc. Super fancy, totally unlike the one in Springfield/Alexandria. haha. Food was reasonably priced in my opinion, most appetizers and entrees were priced anywhere between $ 9 – 15 and for a $ 1, you can add extra fries too. Everyone enjoyed the food, came out fairly quick(30 – 40 minutes). I read Unilocal reviews before coming and many complained food wait was about 60 – 90 minutes on weekends. I ordered mini cheeseburger sliders and as you can see in one of the photos, they forgot to put the patties and cheese on one… how can you forgot the patties? its cheeseburger sliders for gods sake! Waitress took the plate back and brought out a «brand new ONE slider» and said the kitchen sincerely apologized. Thankfully it didn’t take no more than 5 – 10 minutes. Service was good, she was rather younger yet, polite and very energetic.

We to TopGolf in Ashburn Va, with some co-workers, hasn’t been opened long. So this is a new concept in the golf driving range world… get points for hitting the«colored» area coordinating with the distance you are from the tee. For instance, hit the 20yd, then move on to 60yds, 85yds… 160yds. You can play against your friends also in your«pod» to give your buds a rivalry. The service staff, are all polo wearing teens & young adults. Pretty attentive for the most part. Food was very good«bar food». Goes well with drinks & golf and laughter. Fun can be had at any age as long as you can hit a golf ball. The setup is three levels(1sst floor, 2nd, 3rd) with bays facing the driving range in each. Your golf ball has a microchip inside which is tracked by the sensors around the hole you’re shooting on. Miss you hole, and hit another? DEDUCTPOINTS… makes for an interesting night. I’ve also added pics/video. I’m hoping the Town of Cary allows this three story structure to come in to the dying Cary Towne Center, would help liven the place up some. I’ll be back!
