I’m disappointed with their follow up process. I hired and paid for them to represent me in court for a speeding ticket. I called a few days before my court date because I hadn’t received the Waiver of Appearance and figured that was a must have before representing me. They had to scan then email it to get it to me and back in time before court. I called the day before to make sure everything was set but nobody answered so I left a message. I sent an email and never got a reply. I called again the day of my court date and again nobody answered so i left another message, again did not get a call back. The days had come and gone and I never heard from them. Then to my surprise I get a letter in the mail from the Department of Transportation that states that my DL will be suspended if I don’t pay my overdue fines and costs from my court case. WHAT?! I call Bell & Browne again and finally I got an answer. She tells me they sent out a letter about the court case with the amount due to the court«oh and now there’s going to be a $ 50 late fee applied to the bill» WHAT?! I never got a letter! I would’ve been looking for it! She tells me «well we didn’t get any return mail». Sending a letter thru regular snail mail nowadays does not suffice as an assured/confirmed delivery. Unless certified or whatever, it’s probably one of the most unreliable delivery systems. I asked her to email it to me and she says«I will try but I’d have to use the scanner to get it emailed to you and I’m not sure I’ll get to it today»: / It is 2015, letters are fine and dandy but really how about an email, or maybe return a phone call. I’d even be ok with a text message.
