I cannot say enough good things about Sun Soo, My son came here from another studio. He is a bright boy with a lot of energy. He was often made to sit out at the former studio. The staff put my mind at ease immediately. My sweet little boy is progressing quickly and doing better than I could have ever hoped. The staff LOVE the children and it is evident in all they do with them. I love that there are student helpers who come back and aid in the classes. My son loves coming and is focused. His behavior has improved at home. And I even heard him say today in the car that he was proud of himself. GREAT PLACE

Sun Soo is an amazing place to learn martial arts! It is a safe environment with empathetic, knowledgable and fun instructors. They teach through positive self-discipline.Always motivating the students to strive to do their best. There are so many success stories here that are inspirational in many different aspects of life.

I have taken martial arts at several schools in my life and Sun Soo is by far the best one I’ve ever attended. The staff and instructors are well-​informed, educated and push their students to stay focused, stay motivated and learn good physical and mental health as well as self-​defense in a positive yet realistic way. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm, positive people (both students and instructors) and a very intense and rewarding workout. You learn confidence, teamwork, focus, control and a positive yet responsible outlook both with your body and your life. I really like the special attention given to community in this school. Learning self-​defense isn’t just about how to inflict damage to an opponent or perpetrator, but also about camaraderie and looking out for others as well.

Asheville Sun Soo is one of those places you come to develop both physically and mentally. My son and I are both students of Master Tony Morris and his wonderful staff. My son had been bullied at school. His grades dropped drastically, and his self esteem diminished. Even after the bullying stopped, he struggled with the emotional scars. My husband and I took our son for an interview with Mr. Michael Dickinson. After seeing him work with our son, we knew we had to enroll him at the school. Within one month of attending classes, his grades improved to A’s and B’s. I am so proud of my son, and I thank Asheville Sun Soo for what they have done for our family.
