I really dislike going to the dentist, but this office is incredible. Cynthia, the receptionist, was so kind and accommodating. April, the hygienist, was hilarious and thorough. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend.

Okay, so I read an article online that informed me that most people believe that their own personal dentist is the best.
Up until now, I haven’t felt that way. Dr. Councill and Dogwood Dental have changed things for me.
I was extremely impressed by his calm, professional, yet jovial manner. I had fractured a tooth, and he was very happy to inform me of multiple options for proceeding. I never felt like I was getting a hard sell, or a doom and gloom dental report of the unfortunate future that awaited me if I didn’t spend a ton of cash.
After agreeing on a plan, I came back the next week and was treated to an absolutely lovely procedure. Dr. Councill was very soothing. He was the first dentist I’ve had that has described each action that he’s taking. It was very calming.
I was also quite impressed by how affordable my procedure was. I’ve had other dentists charge me more than double for the same procedure. (Yes, this has happened before)
So yeah, maybe people do think that their personal dentist is the best dentist. But until now, I never felt like I had a personal dentist.
