On Saturday, I attended a «performance«by this«artist.» During the performance, he merely slapped paint on a canvas for 30 minutes to the music of a local D.J. Afterwards, he declared that this piece was worth over eleven grand. Then the most interesting part of the whole ordeal occurred. Activists exposed him as a sexual predator in our community. They came with print out copies of his pending charges for sexual battery. This is not the first time that he has been accused of this type of action against women. The activists were asked to leave, and they did. Please DONOT support this man. Every sale that he gets for his ridiculous«art» only gives him more income to continue to evade legal ramifications for his detestable behavior. It allows him to hire high powered lawyers. I, for one, will not aid a sexual predator. Will you?

I attended a live painting performance where I saw Gerard throw paint on a canvas for 35 minutes and slap an $ 11,500 price tag on it. Simple, easy, talentless. I see better art hanging in the walls of my child’s Kindergarten class. While were there, protesters handed out literature naming Gerard a sexual predator!

One of the best artist galleries I have been to. The artwork is simply astounding. I found it hard to look away after staring at each piece for awhile. The colors and textures of each painting is one of a kind and pop from the canvass. It was as if I was viewing museum art without paying for admission. It’s that quality of work, people! Must see!!!

Unbelievable experience. Took my 19 year old son for one of Jonas’ Saturday Music and Art event.

Unilocal would not afford me adequate space to extoll how wonderful I think Jonas and his work and his gallery are. I wish he were my swami art guru. Watching him paint(which he encourages) is like watching Nureyev and he makes me cry with his beauty… Jonas not Rudolf! All I can say is if you are in Asheville or anywhere near there, make it a point to go visit. It will change your life. He changed mine. One of my only regrets leaving WNC was not being able to visit the gallery more often to be moved and inspired. I need some of that inspiration here! When I regain my composure, I will add more.
