A friend told me about this gym after taking her 3 year old here. I decided to give it a try with my 4 year old and was incredibly impressed. Some things that won me over: — The location is spotless. I have no idea how they do it, but you’d never know kids were playing here every day. The equipment, floors, and toys are always clean. — The instructors have been fabulous and have genuine smiles for the kids. It’s really nice to see that they truly enjoy spending time teaching and playing games with children here. They also seem to have endless patience when kids have a tough time listening to direction(*cough*talkingaboutmine*cough*). Kudos to them. — The walls to both the class room and the gym have large glass windows, and there are two rows of chairs(and free wifi!) in the space that separates the rooms. I really love being able to sit and watch my kid have blast with his class, but also the opportunity to sit and relax with a cup of coffee and get some work done on my laptop if need be. — The owner(Miss Stephanie) truly has a passion for the kids here. My son has some food sensitivities, including gluten, and Stephanie has been thoughtful enough to call before classes that will have play dough so I can bring my own GF version. She has also kept an eye on my guy to make sure he’s not getting into anything he shouldn’t, and when he started going through a phase with separation anxiety, the only thing that got him through was Miss Stephanie taking the time to sit with him, letting him bring in a stuffed animal, and just being a good buddy to him. I’ve been going here several months now and tried out Wonderkid classes, Camp Days, and have been to a friends superhero birthday party that the gym hosts(almost a week ago and he hasn’t stopped talking about how fun it was) and I can’t think of a single complaint for any of it. I really can’t recommend this place enough.

We’re in Asheville for two months and were attending attending summer camp and classes. My 5 years old daughter loved it!

My 3 year old loves attending the Little Gym and I love going too! The lessons not only incorporate physics movements, but also academic and social lessons as well. For example, the first week she went they were talking about feelings and ways to tell people how you are feeling. This past week was part of a series of muscle groups. They introduce the vocabulary and use the words frequently. I’m not expecting my daughter to remember every muscle group, but it gives her a reference or exposure to the new words. They also give«homework» that lends to family activities. One week it was feelings charades, thus past week was balancing on one foot. I have horrible balance so we did it together. I also love how the instructors are animated and energetic. They also have coffee and snacks. Oh and the class is an hour which is great!
