We used this eye office for years. Then the main doctor retired and Dr. Reames took his place. I thought she was a good eye doctor. She’s just not that great with kids. The staff aren’t that great. They aren’t very helpful, and they really nickel and dime you. We’ve since moved on and are better for it.

Horrible experience. Beware if you purchase their groupon and don’t buy glasses that day, they will charge you an exam fee of $ 100+ and won’t tell you that until they are all done your exams.
I took my daughter in for glasses and did not find anything she liked. I paid for the groupon which included an exam and credit towards glasses. Still charged an exam fee because I did not buy glasses that day. Felt like a cheesy used care sales pitch.
Wrote a letter to request a refund and to express concern over how the appointment was handled. Not even so much as a phone call in return.

The doctors and staff are all super friendly, quick, and professional.
However, I have shown up on more than one occasion for glasses adjustments only to find that the office was closed on specific weekdays for training. The only notice of this is a sign on the door a day or so beforehand. At least email the clients so we know not to drive all the way out there when you’re closed…

My husband and I started using Vision Source a couple of years ago. They have consistently gone out of their way to give excellent service, way above and beyond the norm. They’ve worked with us to get the perfect prescription, the most attractive frames and the best price. They’ve made creative repairs on frames we’ve broken to tide us over until our insurance would cover a replacement pair. They’ve tweaked a prescription until it was optimal. They’ve replaced, without our asking, lens that were scratched because the lens was still in the warranty period. They give service with a smile. All the staff, clerical and professional have been great, but a special shout out goes to Lisa Poe, business manager.

I have a lot of cornea abrasions. If you have had these before you know how much they hurt! Vision Source always fits me in right away and fixes up my eyeball. The optometrist is awesome about explaining to me about what is going on with my eyes until I understand. The front desk folks are always friendly and so is the office manager.

Horrible service. Sold me transitional lenses for a slight far sighted px. Then when I went back and asked about the in the car transition that was sold to me (which doesn’t work) no one returned my phone call to advise me. Takes your money at the beginning, but not much after that. Also, Not much of a selection in men’s frames to choose from.
