Wild Mountain Bees

Love this little store. They have lots of beekeeping and honey processing equipment. Don’t let the outside of the house fool you, it is packed full of supplies. The owners are very knowledge and friendly also.

Bees have always fasinated me, but I never knew where to start on any aspect of how to have bees on my property. Wild Mountain Bees helped me get started with a 2 punch combination…
The first involved what they sell… which is… anything you need to acquire, keep, and care for your bees along with tools to help you harvest the honey they produce, but they don’t stop there… they also have books to guide your process and expand your knowledge and products that are dervived from honey (soap, candles, even honey itself… and the list goes on). They even provide the option to buy hives complete or the parts for folks that want to assemble it themselves.
The second has to do with classes to give hive owners hands on experience and information to be the best keeper of bees you can be.
Folks in the store (housed in a home I remember driving by as a kid.) are GREAT!!! Helpful, NICE, and VERY knowledgeable make the entire shopping experience excellent!
This is my second year buying and learning from them… and each time is better than the last.
Keeping bees may not be for everyone, but if it is for you, then so should Wild Mountain Bees when it comes to all your bee keeping needs.
