We were passing through Asheville and saw this great gallery. This place is fabulous! Tons of art that rotates on a regular basis from local and abroad artists. The person watching over the collection hangs out by the front and doesn’t follow you around so you can really take your time and enjoy the art. It’s set up so that each artist has a portion of a cubicle type set up. The art is typically very clearly priced and encompasses a wide range of styles. Items are as low as $ 1 and higher end ranges up into the $ 100s. It was very easy to find items on a budget. I bought three or four things for under $ 50 total. Really cute, well laid out gallery run by nice people and absolutely no pressure to buy. I highly recommend a visit!

If you want to support local art, ZaPow is a great place to browse all the various artists that house their pieces here. At first I was confused that it was going to be like the Torpedo factory in Alexandria, VA where the artist actually do their work in house and use the space as their studio, but they actually don’t do that here, and only sell their finished arts here. After having dinner in the area, we stopped by here and saw some really neat pieces for purchase!

LOVED this place! My husband and I stopped by while visiting Asheville and fell in love with this funky art gallery. We were impressed at how affordable the prints were and almost every piece was interesting or funny or thought-provoking. There are a lot of pop culture-inspired pieces and it was fun to come across some of the more obscure references that we recognized. The owner was there and was very nice and informative. They have signs informing you of their no-photography policy and are happy to arrange a conversation with someone you think might be interested in a piece. We will definitely stop back in when we come back to Asheville.

This is a hip spot for local art, there are a lot of affordable pieces with styles for everyone. You can find animé, cartoon depictions, creative landscapes and more. Don’t let the location fool you, this isn’t just for those with heavy wallets.

Love this place! Cool art that you can actually afford! Art for the people! ZaPow is an art gallery that seems to focus on pop culture. There’s a definite«graphic» edge to the work displayed. Artists apply to be a member and have their work shown. Commissions are kept low by charging members a monthly membership fee. All pieces seem to be well placed without giving you a congested flea market feel. Really neat laser prints for framing, as low as $ 12! Don’t remember seeing anything above $ 400! Whenever I can scrape together an extra $ 400, there are some pieces that I would seriously consider owning.

Of all the art galleries/shops I visited during my stay in Asheville, this was my favorite! It’s fun and colorful, inviting, and packed with art! It feels like walking through an etsy shop! In fact, I visited twice in one day to look through everything. Each artist gets their own little area or cubby and most of them have great business cards as well. I loved stocking up on all the business cards, it’s like miniature sized art for free. It’s fun to get local art and they have so much of it. And additionally, the prices are so fair, that I walked away with 2 pieces. It’s a great place for geekdom too, with many pieces inspired by comics, TV shows, and the like.

one of my favorite places in asheville to get gifts, cards or just stroll. it seams like you walk through your etzy store. at the beginning there is something like i would call a hall of fame of the art every artist displays here, then when you get in further you realize that every artist has a little cubicle where they display their arts. mostly drawing or collages, partly very smart and beautiful stuff. also other materials are used like, clay or fabric, its amazing what some people can do with it! a lot of the cubicles have similar stuff, like original pictures, prints, cards or magnets but because of the different artist nothing is the same, something for every taste and wallet. a lot of Asheville art also, stickers and postcards collages of our city. the lady that owns the place is very friendly and helpful and also an artist that paints unicorn pictures. i ll be back soon for sure

We spotted this place while walking around and exploring downtown Asheville. It’s cross between a gallery and an art shop — they sell prints and originals of all sorts of different styles and different mediums. There’s a lot of comic book and geek inspired things here(including doctor who drawings and Studio Ghibli paintings). Many of the artists here have websites such as etsy or deviantart where they also sell their work which is nice if you ever want to get more of a certain artist’s works or just follow them online. The prices are surprisingly affordable and I actually walked away with something where with most places I can only gaze longingly at all the lovely art.

Great place for pop art and things you might have bookmarked on Etsy but want to see in person first. It takes a while to get through the whole thing! It was like an office with a bunch of cubicles for art. I had to go through at least twice to review what I had seen and revisit the cubes that I was interested in. The price points are great, too. Definitely something for everyone. I was happy to pick up a gift and make some mental notes about specific artists so that I can be on the lookout for more of their work.

Such a nice little gallery collection filled with various different mediums and styles. I especially love the pop art! Haven’t seen stuff like this since NY and Art School :) it’s nice to have a gallery that showcases the city’s artists. If you’re on the city, make sure to take a peek!

Great pop culture, star wars, comic book style art. All mediums can be found inside painting, sculpture, ink, pastels… If you’re a DC or Marvel fan, you need to stroll inside with some space on your credit card.

This place is great! If you are into art, comics, or both, I highly recommend stopping in. The owners are really kind and gave me some good tips on places to eat while in town. I picked up some sweet Star Wars postcards and sent them to New York, Australia, and South Carolina. The recipients will want to keep them for sure. Suitable for framing. There were so many cool paintings that it would be tough to only choose one, so you might as well get a couple.

Lots of different community art here. Some really amazing stuff. The thing I was not impressed with was not being greeted and actually snubbed by an artist and the woman working the front desk. This place deserves five stars if they decided to hire some help which will make customers want to stay and but something. Artists your stuff is amazing! If you are into alternative, community based art of all mediums this place is for you.

What a great space! A variety of artists and styles is represented here. This will be one of the first places I’ll bring out-of-town friends to. Heck, even in-town friends!
