This place is pretty good. I probably wouldn’t go as much as I do if Ashland City had more lunch options. The food is always decent. I have found hair in my food before which really grosses me out. The service is always good and the girls are really sweet.

We’ve been at this restaurant quite a few times. The meal you get depends on the mood of the staff. Friday night ribeye meals are the best thing going, as long as you get a good piece of meat without it being over cooked or gristly throughout. Twice I’ve ordered the Cobb salad with chicken and both times it came on a hot plate that wilted the lettuce and even melted the cheese to the rim of the plate. I have to really force myself to return something but I just could not eat mushy lettuce, when I was finally able to get the attention of our server, she said«huh, it must have sat under the heat lamps too long» then walked off… No offer to swap it out or bring me something else. Needless to say, we didn’t go back for quite some time. Then new management came in and since we have such limited options in this town, we occasionally go for the ribeye. Well, this past week, it was a day of running and cooking at home didn’t happen, I was very hesitant but I ordered the Cobb salad again and my husband even asked if it could be brought on a chilled(not hot) plate. The server looked at him like he had 3 eyes, smirked and had a blank stare so I told her the last time it came wilted. She walked away completely confused. Meal came and so did my HOT plated/wilted-mushy salad! I ate what I could since our server was always rushing by and MIA most of our meal and vowed to erase this place off of our tiny list of local places to eat in our home town. Sad!

Good chili and a cold beer, what’s not to like! Nice place inside, spots on lots of TVs. Friendly staff to feed and liquor you up. Nice neighborhood vibe. I had to laugh that someone was offended by the no guns sign. Fear not son, this is Ashland City, not Afghanistan.

We’re from out of town — Miami, Florida — to be specific and our local family members brought us here for easy, quick bar food and drinks. There was 7 of us that walked in on a Tuesday night at about 8:00pm after a very long, weary day. The sign said«a hostess will seat you», but no employee was to be seen. There were approx 12 –15 patrons in total scattered about the restaurant and bar, and a lone man bellowing country songs on stage… He sang terrible! We sat ourselves at a long wooden high top table in the bar area. A young girl came running over apologizing and saying that she was the only employee on the floor. She took our drink orders and got them to us quick! We told her we were hungry and assured her that we were excellent tippers! She took our dinner orders and quickly put them in the kitchen. My tomato bisque soup was good. Not excellent, but good for a sports bar. My dinner was grilled chicken Cobb Salad with balsamic dressing. The lettuce and veggies were fresh. My husband liked his French Dip sandwich and fries. My brother in Law loved his grilled steak with baked potato. My sister in law said her fried fish was very tasty(not processed, actually fresh breaded). Aunt and Uncle were happy with their Turkey wraps and the Club Sandwich. Again, good typical Sports Bar food. Solid. Our server was spot on and timing was perfect. I just felt bad for her that she had to ran the whole dining room and bar herself. I’m taking 1 star away for entertainment. The croonie guy singing has GOT to go! Every single song sounded the SAME. He plays the guitar and sings in the same chord! And yes, I listen to country! It was so hard to talk and hold a conversation over this«live music».

So I ignored the«No Carry» sign. I decided that the protection of my family was more important. Obviously the owner of this place is not a local, or he/she would know that having that sign on the door is bad for business. We split the queso, pizza, and wings. The food was ok at best. Service was slow, but prices were reasonable. I will probably not go back. The food wasn’t good enough to justify going again.

I was seated immediately with the paper menu and regular menu in hand… as I started to place the menus on the table, I noticed something sticky on my left palm. Looking at both menus, I also noticed the greenish yellow substance was covered in hair. As I pulled my hand from the menu, the substance stayed intact, stretching as I tried to pull my hand from the menu. I showed the waitress, and while we both agreed that it was born from the respiratory system of a person and not a food substance, she believed that it originated from under the table and not the menu. She took the foul menus from me and placed them back in queue for the next unsuspecting, hungry patron. The food itself was decent enough to be called a turd kit.

Concealed Carry people, this restaurant does not approve of your right to carry. They ask you to not carry in their establishment.

The ambience is decent, though I would wish for a few less TV.s. The food is excellent. I had both catered lunch food from here as well as a chicken sandwich at the restaurant the following night. Both were very very good food. My server, at dinner time, was very friendly and efficient. I felt well cared for.

Please disregard previous reviews-Sidelines is under new ownership and the food and drinks are are great! The server was prompt, attentive, and helpful, the food was plentiful, home made, and reasonably priced. I had a salmon salad that could have easily fed two for lunch-a perfectly-cooked salmon filet on mixed greens with a huge pile of REAL bacon bits, big chunks of blue cheese(YUM!), a whole boiled egg(halved), and really good balsamic vinaigrette. My BF had the rib eye, which was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. And you absolutely MUST try the mozzarella sticks-not the usual frozen kind-but hand-made, hand-breaded in panko crumbs, and HUGE! You could make a meal out of these and a draft Blue Moon… and the band was good when I was there…

My wife and I took some friends that were looking at property in Ashland City to Sideline. We pulled up, the open sign was on, and the hours on the door stated that they were open till 10PM which was perfect as it was 9pm. We walked in and after waiting 5 – 10 mins for someone to greet us what appeared to be the cook walked up and asked if we had been helped. we said no and he said sorry were closed and I’ve sent everyone home. I looked at him and said sign says open and the door says you close at 10pm. his response was sorry, were closed. keep that kind of customer service and it wont be long till your closed permanently. I will be telling everyone I know how you treated us.
