Anthony’s Barber Stylist

I had been to a few other shops since moving to Ashland. Anthony’s is by far the best. I had my hair and beard trimmed and I think it’s the best cut I’ve ever received. I was in and out quickly and the price is very fair. I will certainly be returning.

Great value and nice guys to chat with. My wife always loves the cut and I always love the price amd efficiency.

A few months ago I moved to town and was in the market for a new barber. I’ve been back 4 or 5 times and had my hair cut by each barber. They are awesome! The haircuts have all been great, but what brings me back every time are the interesting stories and conversations that I hear. The atmosphere is pure, classic barber shop and I’ll be coming here for every haircut in the future!

We moved to Metrowest 6 months ago and I went to a handful a barber shops looking for my new one. After that I was willing to drive back into Boston every two weeks to visit my former until I discovered Anthony’s. He’s been open and in Ashland for over 40 yrs! Clearly he knows how to run and successful business and treat his customers. You walk out with a great cut and a thank you every single time whether you sit with Anthony or one of his team members! Go see them.

I had been going to the same place for years and never changed this after moving to Ashland. This morning I decided to try somewhere much closer to home and I’m glad I did. I showed up about 15 minutes after opening and was welcomed right into a chair with no appointment. This was great because I get going pretty early in the mornings and I don’t always like having to plan ahead for haircuts. Being able to drop in while on other errands was perfect. As he was getting my haircut started he introduced himself and the other barbers, very friendly. Sometimes I find barbershop conversation forced and somewhat awkward, but here I found it very relaxing, friendly and entertaining. My haircut was not rushed but did not take very long and came out great. I will definitely be making this my new spot for a haircut.

Life is all about the little things! And this gem of a Barbershop is awesome. I travel a lot for work and happened to find this place via the Internet! Now ‘a’ days it is hard to find a place to get a «non rushed» haircut (unless you want to goto a salon and pay $ 40) Which I don’t mind paying for quality but it is frustrating because I get a haircut at least once every 2 weeks. And considering I get a «fade» which is a relatively easy fast process it can be expensive! Anyways haircut was $ 16 dollars and worth every penny! True gentlemen and I felt very at home here. In a small community called Ashland and just a very pleasant experience. Not to mention the haircut wasn’t rushed and very well done. Just a shame I am not from the area and can’t always get my haircut here. Places like Supercuts, Great Clips etc may charge $ 4 dollars less but in my opinion I feel like I am «cattle» going into them. I have no problem paying $ 20 bucks for a haircut and great conversation. Not to mention I am a firm believer and will go out of my way to spend my money at a place where it is taken by a «mom and pop» type joint! Big business is the exact reason why ya feel like a number at Supercuts and they could careless about your hair or conversation!
