Ashland Family Practice

I’ve been going to Dr Daughtery my entire life! He was the Dr who delivered me 27 years ago! He is such a sweet and personable Dr. He truly cares for his patients and it’s evident in the amount of time and care he puts into his office visits. I am taking my children to him as long as he’s still practicing!

Ashland Family Practice was the first doctor’s office I could actually get into, and all I needed was a routine exam and a prescription for spring allergies.
My «doctor,» though I’m sure he’s earned his doctorate, hardly applied his skills. All he did was ask me a set list of questions and write me a prescription. Between the doctor I had, Dr. Doug Raber (I can’t speak for the others at this practice), and his assistant, I only had my blood pressure and pulse checked, and Dr. Raber was nice enough to look down my throat.
Whether this is specific to this office or doctor, or a state of healthcare, I’m not sure. If this is the extent of the trappings of a yearly physical, then don’t even bother going to a doctor, especially this one. I have plenty of friends with nursing degrees who could have done the same crap.
In conclusion, no one at that office made direct contact with my skin. I didn’t get any examination for my man areas. It’s a joke.
