Dor Lo Pizza

I think the subs are great. I had the chicken bacon ranch and it was quite tasty. I think the pizza is ok but my coworkers love it.

For many years my only knowledge of DorLo pizza has been their pizza wagon at Wayne County Fair. My daughter’s participation in 4H had us at the fair all five days of the fair open to close. DorLo pizza of course was a go to place for all the kids including my daughter.
My daughter picked up two pizzas last night for dinner, one deluxe, one meats. First time having DorLo outside of the fair experience. I had a slice of each pizza and was very disappointed in the lack of quality of a restaurant made pizza. First of all despite the fact that they were two different pizzas with different toppings it was hard to distinguish one from the other. The vegetables on the deluxe were so few and chopped so fine we couldn’t really tell they were there. Honestly, I think they buy the cheapest ingredients they can find, nothing was good about this pizza. Not to mention the grease! My daughter is now 32 and I guess her taste has matured because she didn’t care for it either. Thank goodness!

My favorite hometown pizza! There is nothing like it. Quaint little place, servers make you feel at home! I love how the pizza is cut! If I’m picking up, the «driver» gets the little triangle snack pieces!

Best pizza in town. Every time I come back to m home town of Ashland, my wife looks at me and does not even have to ask where I want to eat. She knows the answer. As the song goes «Simply the best »

While I can’t speak to dining in or the buffet, I have had take out from Dor Lo once too many times. I remember when I first started visiting Ashland back in the late 80’s, Dor Lo pizza was the bomb. I loved that it was cut in squares and I actually liked the taste of this pizza. Have my taste buds evolved that much or has their quality seriously gone downhill?
I have to be honest — my last taste of this pizza was some of the worst I have ever endured. The pizza was so greasy, the grease actually soaked completely through the box. The pizza itself was bland and flavorless. The crust was soaked in grease and limp. There are much better options in Ashland. Do yourself a favor and try them out.

Busy at lunch as it should be.
Lunch buffet is great, they bring a lot of varieties consistently to the bar during the lunch hour. Busy place but we could find a table. Waitress ran around and busted her butt keeping refills and tables cleared.
Along with the buffet comes a salad bar. Has alllll the fixings and pudding to boot.
