Ashland has quite an extensive open space, of which Lithia Park immediately comes to mind. Then there are the neighborhood parks like Garfield that Gayle and I happened on during a couple of our walks. It’s green, flat, and a nice place to stretch out over its 3 acres. Also available are basketball courts; volleyball courts; a playground; the «Zero Depth Waterplay Facility»; mountain views; open lawn space; and picnic tables. The park is dog friendly and ample street parking is available.
