I decided to check this place out after purchasing an amazing Groupon. The Groupon came with 2 wine tastings and 2 bottles of wine for $ 22! Such a steal(and most certainly inflates this rating)! The place itself is located in the small downtown area of Ashland. In terms of the space, they have a nice bar area, along with several tables and chairs. The exposed brick and the local artwork make for a really classy spot. In terms of their wines, most of them are sweet, although they have a few dry wines. I tend to like dry reds so it was a little disappointing that most of their wines were sweet and white. Their wines were pretty good, but their sangria was great. Probably some of the best sangria I’ve had, and they have both red and white sangria. In addition to wine and sangria, they have several small food plates. We ordered the hummus plate($ 7), as well as a meat and cheese plate($ 5). I’d definitely recommend the hummus plate over the meat plate. In terms of service, the women who helped us were extremely friendly and helpful. They were also very generous with the pours. For $ 5, you get 5 tastings. If you’re undecided about tastings, I’d recommend going with the sangria and the award winning wines, which are signified by gold medals on their tasting sheet. Each tasting is 1.5−2 ounces, which I thought was incredible. I’m used to much smaller tastings, so this was definitely a highlight of our visit. Finally, in case you didn’t know, this space is more like a wine bar and they have their winery in Palmyra. I’m interested to check the place out given some of the events they have scheduled over the summer. For example, they have several Fridays where they invite a local brewery to the premises for beer tastings. They also seem to have more food options at their other location, which is an added bonus. Overall, definitely a place I plan to return to in the future.

I’m generally a dry red drinker and their specialty really is whites and sweet wines. However the staff was awesome and the art gallery upstairs was fun to browse. Plus it’s always fun to try new wines. I did really like their red sangria and the Brianna.

This was my first visit. The space is really nice — cozy and cool. I love the art work everywhere. The wines are pretty decent(esp. compared to other NE places). My only gripe is the heavy emphasis on whites over reds.

Third trip for us and it keeps getting better!!! The BRIANNA White is fantastic! If you are lucky you will get Sandy, she is a gem! All their staff has been great in the past as well. Also, a big plus is the simple aps… Order them all and some twice!

The space and atmosphere of this local wine bar is amazing. Ashland, NE has more potential with this business being here. They have some really good varieties of dry reds and a dry white. I don’t care for sweet wines and of course the list is long with those because of the abundance of Nebraska grapes that give those wines that flavor. What would be super awesome is having a local foods restaurant come in and pair foods to the wide variety of wines that Glacial Till offers. Again, a great place, good wine, lots of art, and also room for musicians, poets, and groups to book private space!

I purchased a Groupon for a wine tasting, so we drove out to their wine tasting shop in Ashland on a Saturday afternoon to use it. The shop is nice and had plenty of tables with a bar running along one wall. You go up to the bar to order your samples. There were 15 wines to choose from and the woman behind the bar took a minute to explain the different wines to us. The service is good and we didn’t have to do much waiting when we were ready to order our next samples. I tried 4 whites and the white sangria(red wine gives me migraines) and all the wines were good, although I wasn’t a fan of the sangria. We also ordered the bread plate($ 5) and the meat and cheese plate($ 6). They were ok but nothing exciting. The bread plate consisted of three dipping oils(red pepper, basil, and garlic) and balsamic vinegar with 10 small pieces of bread. The oils were all good but it needed more bread, as we were left with a ton of oil and vinegar. The meat and cheese platter was alright but boring: 8 crackers, 8 half slices of sausage, and some white cheese crumbles. Our Groupon also came with two bottles of wine. It was nice to be able to select our favorites based on the tasting, and we opted to open one and enjoy it there. I would recommend this place for a good, local wine tasting option, although I would skip the appetizers next time. The shop has a great atmosphere and is an enjoyable place to sample wines or even to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine.

The service is always on par. The bartenders are willing to go above and beyond to find you a wine that suits your taste. The building is restored old building with a modern taste. Very cool looking with two levels of Art to view. The only reason I took off a star is because they always seem to have a wide selection of wine options but I only ever like one or two. I like a good red wine any day of the week but I only seem to pick out white wines here.

Buzzkill. A group of us decided to try two local places. This was the 2nd stop, lovely building. My friends sampled 5 wines for $ 5, I purchased 3 wines for $ 5, supposed to be a larger pour.(First & Last pours were good, the middle one, made by either the owner or manager was poured as if I had purchased the 5 instead of 3, and I asked twice, but she ignored my question. When you sit glasses side by side with friends, it’s easy to tell when you’re shorted) Lots of art & lovely setting, but when we got into a very funny story at our table and the laughter started, the owner/manager interrupted our exchange, and hushed us. Then she continued to make her point, explaining the building carries sound and about belly laughs and blah blah blah. We gathered our laughter, our friends, our wallets and left. I’m certain she will enjoy an abundance peace & quiet without all those pesky customers.

The tasting room is on the«main» street in Raymond, a sleepy little town roughly halfway between Lincoln and Omaha. The tasting room had a minimalist modern feel, accented with old exposed brick walls. It helps that the second floor is an art gallery with scattered pieces on display in the tasting room. Very friendly pourer behind the counter. She knew her wines. There was eight wines to choose from, mostly whites. I felt the wines were all too sweet for my taste. The best tasting wine was the Sangria they made for the Cinco de Mayo weekend.

Overall wonderful place. Gorgeous inside. Amazing service. Wines are eclectic, with a balance of all types. My favorite was the sangria! They can be paired with their small plates. Very generous pours at very inexpensive prices compared to traditional wine countries. Artwork is awesome, changing constantly. Great place to hangout, relax, enjoy wine, music, conversation and artwork.

Decent place. Very nice looking inside. You can do 5 for $ 5 but she gives you very very little, or you can do 3 for $ 5 and then gives you a decent portion. She has 3 red wines, 5 white and 2 sweet wines available. You don’t get a free glass. Just found the place«ok».
