Was about to spend 900 $ on hand gun … bald guy was so rude i told him I would take it but decided why buy from a business in which they treat me with no respect so took my money to lovely store in mechanicsville hopkins where I was treated with respect a customer deserved. Might go there to see what new guns are out then buy it elsewhere even when they were a small business they were not the best in customer service no give them your money they dont want it…

Literally told me to fuck off and make my purchase elsewhere because I asked them to pricematch a local competitor. Patrick was rude, condescending and I hope the whole place burns.

All I have to say is poor customer service. I went with money in hand to make a purchase. I could not get anyone to wait on me to answer my questions.
When someone finally did help me they had a terrible attitude. Come to find out, that guy was the department manager.
My best recommendation is to just go to Bass Pro Shop.

The selection is incredible. Tons of guns on display that you can pick up and fondle :)
Lots of bullets and the staff is knowledgeable and ready to assist. The women who work there need to go to charm school. One thing for certain they are rude to everyone… all the time so at least they are consistent

First time here, this place is pretty cool. It’s a rather large store and seems to accommodate to the hunter/​sportsman quite well.
The one thing that I would give this place amazing accolades for is the way they handle the gun sales. They have quite a vast selection and have all the larger guns on display on the back wall. When I mean display, I don’t mean «Oh hey that’s pretty». No, they are on the wall and you can pick them up and hold them, pretend you’re a mobster, etc. This is rather nice if you’re in the market for a gun but would like to touch, hold, etc. the guns before you buy (as I hope you would). Another neat thing they have is they sell used guns. This is great considering doing a face-​to-​face sale for a used gun is a little sketch itself.
We roamed the store looking for stuff but that’s the only really gripe I have with the place. Identifiers for where stuff is, is «ok». The general items you could see, but if looking for specific items you might as well go hunting in the hunting store.
Overall, I’d definitely come back just for the firearms section. You won’t be disappointed.

Great sporting goods store. By far the nicest gun shop that I have ever been to, with reasonable prices and knowlegable staff. I will be making it a point to stop by on my trips down 95…

Greentop has a very helpful polite and knowledgeable staff. Their prices are a tad high but, I will pay a higher price for goods and services because the staff is excellent. They treat you like a person not like a burden. I drive to Hampton VA from NOVA at least once a week and I always leave time to stop and take a look. Now that they put Gander Mnt out of business and took over their store it is even better. Before it was cramped and hard to move around in. Now it is huge free flowing great store.
