I highly recommend! Great gf options! I still think about the Greek wrap! Even my husband who isn’t really a foodie loved the lentil soup.

Love love Pangea! Fresh produce, gluten free options, located in a cute part of downtown. My favorite dish is the gluten free give me the Greek wrap. I have never had anything at Pangea that I have been un satisfied with . The only reason I give 4 versus 5 stars is because I think the prices are ridiculous for the portions you get. Gluten free or not gluten free portions, prices are too high for what you get.

I’ve been enjoying this place for over 15 years– since before moving here back in ’99– & it’s truly a staple, in my eyes, as a local favorite! The updated look is much more vibrant, but still keeps its edgier appeal, too, & the staff is just as chill as ever. Their hibiscus cooler is wonderful on a day like today– so refreshing & relaxing at the same time. I felt like going vegetarian today, so I got their Cleopatra salad with artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes & parmesan topped with their house vinaigrette and a cup of their corn chowder. The salad is as much a breath of fresh air as they come– there’s a nice balance between tart from the vinaigrette & artichokes, sweet from the sundried tomatoes & salty from the cheese. And the chowder has a great consistency– kernels that pop in your mouth, soft onions & potatoes, & fun unexpected notes of green chile! With tax & tip, this meal is well worth a little over $ 16& encouraged you come with friends– it may be small, in terms of seating, but you could easily put tables together & make a decent crowd ^_^

My Greek chicken wrap was good. $ 10 for the gimme the Greek wrap. But then I added chicken and it was $ 14! Crazy… $ 14 bucks for a wrap… gimme a break…

Pangea is everything I want in an eatery: simple, fresh, friendly, and delicious. This is a great place to go when you want amazing, healthy food at a decent price but don’t have a lot of time. You order at a counter and your food is brought to you pronto– the service is astoundingly quick. There are many tempting options on the menu, all with clever names. I ordered the Grill From Ipanema with tofu($ 10.95) and was delighted with my choice. Yes, the veggies were fresh and the aioli was flavorful but, more than that, this wrap tasted like it was made with love. That said, I do wish the dish included a small salad or came with the option to add one for a couple extra dollars just to make it a more complete and filling dinner choice. Pangea is an awesome local business with a great vibe that I will include in my dining plans next time I’m in Ashland.

The lovely lady running the register is a sweetheart. The food is excellent too. Perfectly balanced and not overdone on the aioli. Hard to make wraps exciting, but they do.

Beautiful Soup, so rich and green Waiting in a hot tureen Who for such dainties would not stoop? Soup of the evening, beautiful Soup! Soup of the evening, beautiful Soup! (by L. Carroll) Pangea makes Beautiful Soup, and the people are so nice there, that I love to stop by this groovy place. The clever, pun-laden menu(Grill from Ipanema, Wrap of Khan, The Tempehst) is also quite fun and all of the wraps/sandwiches that I have tried here have been consistently good for me, but my faves are still the soups, for sure. Last time, I had an African Nut soup. I wasn’t sure that I would like it, so I asked what it was like. Rather than tell me, they gave me a little sample and it sealed the deal. Loved it! They also have Rose Lemonade and Hibiscus Iced Tea. How refreshing is that on a hot summer Ashland day? Very.

Helllz yes! Love this place. Gluten free wraps that are actually delicious! Not to mention super fresh veggies and a nice little outdoor seating spot. We stopped here on the 4th to grab some quick food, it was perfect. I got the veggie wrap(not sautéed) on gluten free tortilla and it was AMAZING. The guy behind the counter was really friendly and was happy to tell me where I could find their GF bread and wraps. I’ve since bought them! Really appreciated being able to sit out front with our dog. So there you have it: gluten-free friendly, pet friendly, and great food. Also vegan and vegetarian options. Thank you! PS– Try the lemon basil gluten free cookie. YUM!

It seems to be an Ashland thing to offer unfriendly service. Our server seemed to have a chip on her shoulder and offered adequate service, no more. I ordered a bowl of soup and a rose lemonade, both of which were lacking in flavor and honestly seemed watered-down.

Good for a panini. This place seems to have a spicy flair and service was quick and casual. We had a pesto and brie sandwich and the«what she’s having». The brie panini was absolutely delicious and gooey. The«what she’s having» had a bit of the one too many veggie taste but the seasoning and bread were great. I also have a soft spot for any place with a jar of pickled carrots left out for customers. My only issue was the tiny cups were way too small for the carrots.

I am usually not very touchy regarding service. Grouchy waiter? I don’t care so long as the food is good. But my experience here crossed a line. On a roadtrip to Southern California, I passed through Ashland OR. My hunger was all-encompassing, and my mind could think of little else but food. So when I ordered a wrap that had a vegetarian option or a chicken option, I forgot to specify. I hadn’t ever been here before and simply forgot to state which of the two options I wanted. Though the menu listed both chicken and vegetarian as options, the restaurant defaulted to chicken. I am a vegetarian. As soon as I saw the chicken in the wrap, I apologized and told her I meant to select the vegetarian option(mind you, I didn’t erroneously select the chicken option either. I just didn’t specify and was never asked which of the two I wanted). What came next was unexpected. The server, exasperated and in a voice loud enough that neighboring tables could hear, told me «Next time you come here, it’s REALLY important you let us know if you want tofu. Because now this is going to waste. I’m going to throw it away. I have to waste it.» I had been scolded. As if I were a child flinging food. So a couple of things:(1) there will be no «next time»(2) it is equal part your responsibility to verify which option I want, that it is mine to specify(3) Even though I forgot to specify, you don’t publicly scold a patron for an ordering mishap. My hands were shaking after she walked away, and though she brought out a vegetarian option, and though it tasted good, I just wanted to leave. I was humiliated. I had felt bad, I had apologized, and I had still been condescendingly and loudly reprimanded for a mistake shared by both parties. For the rest of the roadtrip, my boyfriend turned to me whispering«waste, waste, waste…» as if the chicken wrap was the heart beating under the floorboards of our car… In short– Food is good, but make no mistake– you will suffer the wrath of jerk waitress.

This is an upscale casual restaurant for those who want something toward the gourmet end. The panini sandwiches are very good though they are pressed so flat that the contents might spurt out when you take a bite. Tiny cups are provided next to a large jar full of carrot slices and jalapeños if you want some spicy veggies. The lemonade is good. A window seat enables you to watch the passers by.

I love the food here! I’ve never had a bad experience here. I usually get the«Eat Your Heart Out» Panini, & I substitute avocado for the chicken because I’m a Vegetarian. It’s always been delicious. Soups are always good. People who complain about not liking their soups are silly, MAYBEYOUSHOULD’VESAMPLEDTHESOUPBEFOREBUYINGIT! They do let you sample them, you know! Haha. But yeah, always delicious. The Rose Lemonade is so good! Refreshing. Oh yeah. & only one time did they forget to sub the avo for chicken on my panini. I told them, they made me a new one for free & let me keep the one with chicken to give to my friend. Thanks Pangea :)

It’s cute and cozy in this little gem I had the blue chicken and caramelized onions and peppers wrap. Was quite tasty loved the thin tortilla and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Service was quick and friendly I went again for the Wild mushroom panini and that was delicious as well. Not a place for children it’s a bit tight and although I enjoy children there were a few there and with no where for them to move they continued to kick and move my table and chairs as well as every other guest. Overall a great place to stop for a quick bite.

Maybe if the staff weren’t so visibly high, they could have handled the two three tops that were in the place without panic. Completely flummoxed due to a confused drink order given by a senior. The other table(who got there 15 min earlier but left at the same time) and ourselves both left with the wrong orders. I owned a restaurant for 10 yrs, never saw such bad, and again visibly high service. Party all you want but for gods sake pull it together for your 4 hr shift.

I was travelling from Eugene to Sacramento and found Pangea on Main Street in downtown Ashland. It’s a fantastic little café with a friendly and helpful staff. The food creations that I tried were wonderful(my companion and I ordered two different sandwiches to split). First up was«Tangled up in Bleu»: Grilled chicken in creamy bleu cheese with roasted red peppers and caramelized onions. The flavors blended well without any flavors being overpowering… just a very well balanced taste experience. If anything, I’m prejudiced by my love of stinky cheese so I could have used a bit more of the bleu. Next was the«Ranch Blues» Panini: Sriracha BBQ spiked chicken with roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, bleu-cheese and melted mozzarella. Like the«Tangled up in Bleu», the flavors all worked well together, but what set this one above the other was the wonderful taste and texture of the bread which was pressed(toasted) perfectly for a terrific crunch as I bit through the creamy melted mozzarella and the sweet and hot flavor of the Sriracha chicken. I’ll be sure to make this a regular stop whenever passing through Ashland!
