I’m thoroughly enjoying John’s Summer Yoga in the Park series. What to say? –Wonderful 90 minute yoga class at a natural pace. – John is inspiring and a really good teacher. He shares insight into the poses, what they are good for, what organs or muscles each pose benefits. He really does help me stay connected to my breath — I find, for whatever reason, that his instruction keeps me totally aligned with my breath. – He takes the time at the start of class to go around and say hello to everyone individually! – It’s not a «competitive yoga» class at all … he reminds all of us to work to our ability and to take care and listen to our bodies. – I’ve taken 8 or 9 classes so far and each one is a bit different. He seems to tune into the group and go with that. The variety keeps me interested– not bored. – He is a great inspiration ! … always sharing inspiring stories or anecdotes during class – He has been teaching Hatha Yoga for 30 years and offers this class BYDONATION in the summer. I think that is amazingly generous of him. – And finally, the class is held in beautiful Lithia Park. Doing yoga outside in the morning sun(class is from 8 a.m.-9:30, Tues. & Sat. mornings) is refreshing. The class meets on the lawn near the entrance to the park.

Love starting my day with Yoga in Lithia Park. John keeps the pace moving along with insightful messages, clear instructions, and information about how different poses are helping to do good things for specific body parts. After not doing Yoga for years, this reminds me how much I loved it and why I should continue. Only wish he was here all summer in the beautiful park setting.
