Decent beach, if your home is Ohio, Walnut is a great beach for you. If you want a better location, I would suggest Geneva or other local beaches. The playground is excellent for kids and the surrounding grass areas are great for reunions or events. The beach itself is clean but very rocky. The beach has closing hours so pay attention to those. being there past those hours is considered trespassing.

One of my favorite Lake Erie beaches in Ohio. Big park, big parking lot, playground & a classic beach pavilion with concessions. There are some small dunes on the east side of the beach. Good beach for searching for beach glass & smooth green stones. Lifeguards during certain hours. Boardwalk from parking lot & pavilion toward the lake. Great place to watch sunsets. Lighthouse in the distance.
