Show up at 9:10 pm when they advertise 10pm closing. They kick me out saying the kitchen is closed. Wtf?!

One of the better restaurants in Snowmass Village. Get a bottle of sake for $ 35! Can’t go wrong with any noodles here. The other reviews are a little ridiculous. When you are landlocked in the middle of America, you cannot expect some authentic noodle place. But it is very solid & was successful in feeding very hungry skiers.

I came here to get dinner when I was skiing in Snowmass. I wanted some Asian food and the Western suggested the restaurant. They serve ramen and rice dishes. I ordered a ramen dish, sriracha honey wings, and mushroom dumplings.
The food was mediocre. The sriracha wings were not spicy at all. The ramen tasted like the maruchan ramen packages, which is not very tasty. My broth was bland and tasteless. Definitely not even close to the best ramen I’ve had.

I never write reviews but I just had to write one for Double Black. The food was amazing and very fresh, perfectly cooked and divine. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. It is so easy to do this kind of food very poorly and they did it incredibly well. I wish we’d eaten here every night!

These reviews are crazy. This place was great. Food, service, location, and kid friendly was awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant for families, large parties, kids, or normal dinner.

The worst Japanese place ever! Perfect location, friendly service but terrible food made by cheap/​instant ingredients. Iced Thai Tea taste just like sweet water. Ramen noodles are chalky, rice also taste like those microwaved ones, not as good as in-​flight meal. They even charged me 20% for tips without letting me know. There were 6 of us separate the bill evenly, they mistakenly charged 3 of us in different amount. Then I found out the next day that they charged me more than the price I’ve signed. Seriously, we were totally not satisfied with the dining experience but wasted $ 40/​person.
