Went to check out this poster store tonight. Most items were outrageously priced without any type of certification of authenticity(thousands of dollars). The other posters, laying in piles on tables and floors were not priced at all. I asked the owner about one poster sitting on the floor in another room and he rudely told me it was $ 20,000, then he got up off the floor which he was sitting on and walked to another room. Had zero interest in helping me as a customer, or being present in the world of actual reality. If a $ 20k poster is lying on the floor, I can’t imagine what they have that place insured for… maybe $ 30 Billion dollars? Judging on the prices and the amount of posters stacked all about the store this poster company is worth more than Apple or Microsoft. WORSTPLACEEVER. Best part… sign says that they are going out of business and everything is up to 70% off. Me thinks the going out of business sign is a scam(seeing how it was covered in dust), and they are looking for stupid people with lots of money that wont ask questions. Horrible person and even worse store. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!!!

How do I give a zero star? It’s depressing that it appears that he’s been doing this for years, but I’ll chime in nonetheless. As an avid poster collector, with REAL original vintage prints, unlike this scam of a store. I had just gotten off the trails, didn’t fit the stereotype he was looking for and was treated like I was an inferior human being. This guy is the worst human being I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Not just worst poster store owner, literally the worst person ever. In the words of of Ray Finkle’s mom, I hope he dies of gonorrhea and rots in hell. I have no idea how this place stays in business, he must make a great living scamming stereotypical rich tourists. These are NOT original prints, this store is a scam and this guy sucks. Cheers

As the previous reviewer stated, the guy who runs this shop is a pretentious jerk. In fact I’ve never had someone be so rude to a customer. I was seriously considering purchasing an Apocolypse Now poster, but this ass made my mind up for me by his attitude. Additionally, the shop is a wreck, just merchandise lying everywhere. Most of the prices were outrageous as well. I can’t understand how this business stays afloat, I know the rent in aspen is up there and this guy can’t be selling much at these prices. I also saw no certifications of originality on movie posters that he’s asking well over 1000.00 $ for. I recommend staying out of this place.

The person in this gallery(assuming it was the owner) was incredibly rude and condescending. It’s best not to even go into this store, because the gallery owner(a middle aged gray haired man) does not want to give you the time of day unless you plan to spend $ 5−10k on a poster. Everyone will agree that Aspen is expensive, and not everyone is super rich, but even the lowly 99%-ers enjoy going into galleries and looking around. Also, even«poor» people know people who have money and they might actually recommend the gallery to a 1%-er friend or colleague if the place is fun and inviting, which this place is not. IMHO, it’s best for these gallery owners to be nice to everyone and not to condescend if they deem the person as not having the money for the art.
