I went here to have two pairs of pants hemmed. Before going, I called to check pricing — $ 12 for a standard hem and $ 18 for an original hem(where they cut off the existing hem and sew it back on). Seemed pricey, but my pants just needed an original hem, so I went. The place smells like cigarette smoke. I was picturing myself getting my brand new hemmed pants back and then having to pay to have them dry cleaned right away to get the cigarette smell out. So I left and took my pants elsewhere. The people there were really friendly and it seemed like they probably do nice work, but I couldn’t stand that smell.
