One of our favorite places on a hot summer day! The water ice is great and they always have a lot of flavor options; enough that I always have trouble choosing just one flavor! The kids LOVE it too!

This is our go-​to Rita’s — for it’s spacious parking lot, clean picnic tables and benches, and sweet teen-​aged girls running to show.
Our 8 year old and I both get kiddie sized (ASK) water ice or custards — and the kiddie portion is PLENTY in my opinion. I love the coffee custard but is is GONE (forever??) now — so I get chocolate or swirl.
DD often gets lemon, blue raspberry or swedish fish flavored «wooder» ice.
The blendini is fun, too.
And now they have sundaes (unlimited toppings like hot fudge, «jimmies”/Sprinkles, whipped cream and a cherry). ASK for the kiddie size — it’s cheaper, smaller and just as satisfying.
Indulgent and a diet breaker for sure — but a summertime must in PA!

Don’t mind if I do, Ritas!
I stopped by for my first gilati of the season yesterday– piña colada ice and vanilla custard. YUM!
My only complaint here is there were small chunks of frozen solid ice and I prefer all slush– BUT it’s early in the season so I’ll cut my friends here some slack. ;-)
