Place is meh. The extra star for the geographical convenience, but if your main selling point and product is access to high speed internet, then access to the internet should not be an issue. What do I mean by this? Opening web browsers, logging into emails, downloading docs… these things I should be able to accomplish in a split second. One minute passes: alright login difficulties, the PC is just warming up, typical stuff. Two minutes pass: Chrome is still booting up… OK, patience is a virtue. Three minutes pass: Google finally loaded up. Think I can get onto my email please? Four minutes pass: I see the top two emails on screen at least, the second one is what I need to open. Seven minutes: I should’ve been outta here by now!!! WTF@#$! Why is this doc not downloading you !%^#$!! In the end I did print out my doc. The result was fine. The price was $ 4.75 for 13 pages plus the usage fee(a bit steep in my opinion). The journey path I took to get there though? Unnecessarily arduous and painful… and the AC wasn’t even at full blast.

The computers are on XP, and clearly limited bandwidth. I had to flick a roach off my desk just now. The place blasts trance music, even in its evening hours when one might expect quieter atmosphere. Currently, there are a bunch of [people] standing over my screen talking rather loudly. That does it, this place will get one star.

Nice place to get work done. Low prices and friendly staff. The computers are a bit slow, but they get the job done. Not the best if you’re looking to play games like league of legends.

— Fast Computers, fast connection speed. Didn’t feel a twitch when I was either watching movies or playing games. — reasonably priced till Midnight. Every hour past the first one is discounted– a plus. The ONLY place in Astoria that stays till the moon night hour. Another plus. –Reasonable food selection– from snacks to drinks, and some order menus for those that want others. Also, a plus since it’s next to Canz and several food areas around Astoria. –Staff is professional. They remind people to keep the volume low to make it a vibrant, yet low keyed, area. Also, people play games there and haven’t heard anything about lag as of YET. Will give a test run with one of my Steam games to see how well they fare. –Availability of programs. Worth for any usage: gaming/chatting/browsing/etc. Even great to watch movies via stream or live events without failure. My spot for watching PVPS away from home and not to have anyone asking you for extra dip sauce for chips. Gripe– lack of space. Although 14 computers does it well, I felt that extra space can do even more for them. However, you make up space with power, and that’s what you get: Access Internet café. Definitely coming back here again. Can’t wait to surprise them with some new repertoire of gaming from Steam.

Great place — I did my fantasy football draft here last night and since we had some west coast participants — this was the only internet café in Astoria that I could find open past 10PM(they stay open til midnight). The computers were fast and clean, the guy that helped us was friendly and helpful and everything here was great.
