Astoria Pizza Factory

APF is better than most pizzerias.
I ordered a regular slice and a spicy chicken slice. I thought the regular slice was great with the right proportions of cheese, sauce, and crust. The spicy chicken slice had great flavor but could have used a lot more chipotle hot sauce.
The manager or owner is very nice and welcoming as well.
I look forward to returning.

Ordered the grandma pie with garlic knots. Excellent food. Delivery came in 20 minutes after I ordered even though they told me it would take 45 minutes.
When the Grandma pie arrived, it was fresh and hot. It came in a cute Grandma pie box and the slices were on point with a great sauce! Garlic knots were good too! Definitely ordering from here again!

Love this place! We always get chicken bacon ranch with the chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. So yummy! Also, delivery is very quick and the delivery guys are usually very sweet. The only negative is the high prices, but coupons are available for your first order and on the pizza box.

All I have to say is Chipotle chicken slice. Or pie. Def get the pie. You will need more than one slice.

Salads are pretty good here. Chicken is good, no funky stuff in it like veins or blood lol. Staff is very very pleasant and nice. Quick delivery! Someone in my office ordered the wrap and pasta and enjoyed as well. will def recommend and be a returning customer!

We ordered a pizza and garlic knots.
2 stars based on the pizza. It was very bland and the crust was doughy and chewy, with a ton of cornmeal on the bottom. We wrote specifically on the order for well done, including that dark burnt spots were ok but the pizza arrived barely brown. Ultimately the lack of flavor and texture killed it, not even the sauce or cheese added saltiness.
3 stars because the garlic knots were good, fluffy dough, different from the pizza, and not greasy.
Delivery was within time frame, on later end but not late at all.

Living in Michigan, I really miss my Long Island pizza. When I booked a flight into LaGuardia, I immediately looked for some good pizza nearby. Going in with lower expectations (no offense Queens, but you’re not reeeeally Long Island), this place hit it out of the park. Specialty slices galore and some BOMB garlic knots. If you’re flying into LGA and looking for an authentic NY pizza experience, you can definitely hit up APF.

I thought it was good. I ordered from Seamless and it arrived on time — not hot, but warm. I was shorted toppings. I was supposed to have pepperoni on the entire pie which they only put on the half with the sausage. The roasted peppers were on the other ½ but no onions. The garlic knots were quite good. I would give them another try.

Finally found an amazing pizza place in Astoria! I used to love La Vita Mia, but ever since they changed owners a few years ago, the quality has completely gone down, so I’ve been trying different places in the area. I’m SO happy I stumbled upon Astoria Pizza Factory.
I ordered it on Seamless this evening and it was delivered hot, about 25 minutes BEFORE the estimated time! I got a 12 inch pizza and it was delicious. They were very plentiful with the toppings and the perfect ratio of toppings to cheese and sauce. It was also cooked to perfection. Nothing burnt over here.
I would also like to point out that I love sauce and I frequently order extra sauce with my pizza, but it usually goes unnoticed, because it would be an additional cost, so I appreciate that Astoria Pizza Factory actually sells sides of sauce and dressing through Seamless! Thank you!!!
PS– I just discovered the physical location is directly across the street from Singlecut Brewery!!! I can’t wait to check them out in person soon!

So their margarita pizza is probably THE BEST I’ve ever had! I’ve had it twice and both times were fantastic! I also ordered a cannoli and it was divine. I ordered fries and they were gross. Tasted like they were double fried or out too long. I’ve ordered fries before and they were fresh but not this time and it’s sucked cause I specifically ordered them for my kid but I’ll let them slide since they are usually consistent. The delivery is also great

Pizza is amazing!!! A++++ Great Experience, Staff were great and extremely pleasant. I come from a family of chefs and the sauce was to die for. A nice combination of sweet and savory. The pizza crust really sets them a part from all the rest in this neighborhood. I found my new pizza spot!

When they first opened I gave it a try. The pizza was just ok. The service was terrible. I said to myself maybe they need some time. Just went back again today and tries out their pizza again. Same. Dough has no taste. Sauce is straight out of a can. The cheese was sprinkled on. The price? Same as Pizza Palace (which is a bit on the high side for pizza) but at least Pizza Palace slices are great and large enough to just eat one slice. The owner Phil I think his name is was arrogant as $?!@
He treats his employees as dogs. Don’t go out of your way to eat there. There are fabulous pizza places on Ditmars, most of which are there over 20 years and still give you a smile and say thank you when you are leaving.

Omg pesto slice is amazing. I bought a Pesto pizza and it’s amazing. Not salty, and it just has a perfect flavor.
I found this place on accident while driving around Astoria and I order from this place often now.
I have 3 favorite pizza places in Astoria: this place, basil, and antika.
I’ve been in the store and everyone is really friendly.

Stopped in before a grocery shopping trip to Best Yet with my three year old and my mother. We were presently surprised! My little girl got a regular slice and I almost devoured it waiting for my pasta to come out. Fresh, crispy cheesy pizza. I ordered a caesar salad to start and I love that they use shaved parmesan vs ground powdered parm. The dressing was great too. Reminded me of an upper scale Italian restaurants salad vs a small pizzeria. For my main, I wanted the baked cheese ravioli and asked for it to be served with vodka sauce and it was spot on. My mother ordered the eggplant parm hero and loved it. I wish I lived closer so I could order delivery but we will be definitely adding this place to our pick up rotation!

Love this pizza! Have only had the delivery but it hits the spot! Very generous with cheese and the vouchers on the box — buy 12 get one free is a challenge I chose to accept!

I love this place for their buffalo chicken roll and their greek stromboli alone. It’s all I order and I love it every single time.
I’ve tried a regular slice and it was okay.
I’ve tried a couple of their speciality slices and they were good.
The sweet and spicy chicken slice is delicious. Its my favorite slice they have.
I’ve also had the penne alla vodka with grilled chicken which was pretty good.
Astoria Pizza Factory is my favorite pizzeria in the Ditmars area and it’s not even close.

Ordered her for my boss and a coworker. We all ordered salads. Mine was very fresh. I didn’t have bad luck with this place with I have with other places when I order salads. The delivery guy was so nice even when he called me to find the school I work at. We are a aviation college so we have so many entrances and he was so calm on the phone. He didn’t have a problem walking a little to find us which makes ordering from this place awesome especially since being in the office we don’t have many options to eat so thank you astoria pizza factory will be doing business with you guys again.

Astoria Pizza Factory is by far one of my favorite pizzerias. They know how to treat their customers in a very respectful and polite manner.
They have a huge variety of specialty slices that are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Sweet & Spicy Chicken slice, it has a perfect combination of sweetness from the pineapples with a bit of a kick of spicy. They also have a great variety of heros, platters, wraps, paninis, salads, and pastas.
Let’s not forget their speedy delivery and their free parking!
All in all, Astoria Pizza Factory definitely knows how to run a excellent pizzeria.

With a name like Pizza Factory, I really didn’t want to ever try the place but late night hunger makes you do stupid things. And I was surprised to see a bunch of 5 star ratings.
The pizza spot is very clean which they should be, given they’ve only been around for a couple of months. They have beer on tap which is cool but I don’t really think I’d go there for drinks. They also have a special where you get a free pint with an order of two slices but it’s only available on Friday from 3−6pm. Who’s really going to go at that time?
Granted I walked in near closing time, the slices they had leftover did not look appetizing. I would usually go with the grandma/​margherita slices but they looked hours old. I probably should’ve walked out but I grabbed two regular slices to go.
Thought on food/​price is that it’s about neck and neck compared to Pizza Palace which is in a much better location. Pizza Palace also charges only $.25 more for 50% more pizza. I will agree with the one reviewer in that the crust was not too bad.
Oh, and while putting the slice in the box, some charred piece from the oven ended up on the slice and the guy just gave me a creepy smile.
In conclusion, will I go back? Probably not. But does it do its job. Yes.
And this place does not resemble or taste ANYTHING like an old school Brooklyn pizza spot. FAR from it.
After my experience, my guess is that the reviews were all written by workers or to get the free slice for writing a review.
