Best One Deli Grocery

This Saturday my boyfriend had organized an interactive podcast competition to round out a documentary he’s been filming/​directing about the VHS era and the decline of physical media film. This took place at his friend’s house which for this occasion had an impressive sound and light-​set up.
We arrived around 11am and were aiming for a 1pm start. Wearing my hungrypants, I ran in here over the weekend to pick up a turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo for my boyfriend, a breakfast sandwich for myself, 6 bottles of water for the guys who were participating in this production and a small black coffee.
Our sandwiches were made quickly and with care, conversion as I waited (since there were others also waiting for sandwiches) was friendly and entertaining and I love places that have DIY coffee stations.
I didn’t get beer here but I did scope out their selection and it wasn’t the very best, but it wasn’t bad either. This is a clean deli with tons of snack foods, cold beverages and a small but quality deli/​cold cut section.
Totally awesome, I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

This is one of the only Bodega’s I’ve ever ventured into that hasn’t hiked all the prices for the «convenience» factor. The beer is about the same price as any local market, the cold cuts are boars head, and a few dollars cheaper than any where else. Also the owners are big Met fans so if you have to do a beer run during the game you won’t miss out on any action because they’ll have it on in the shop.
