I had been coming to this place for years because they had a $ 1.50 shirt special and a $ 3.75 dry cleaning special. While I no longer live in the neighborhood I continued to make the the trek to Astoria from Corona. The place was sold by the previous owner whom I always referred to as the non smiling Filipino. I was Ok with his unfriendly and brash demeanor so long as he did a good job and gave me a good price on my laundry. Some months ago the place was sold to who I will refer to as the A-​hole Korean. My first run in with this chap was when he refused to honor the 4 pcs Dry Cleaning special because one if the pieces was a necktie. Now I don’t know about you but I think there is a whole lot less fabric on a necktie than on a pair of pants or a shirt than a necktie. In any case he made me pay the regular price on all four pieces. Fast forward to today. I took in 8 shirts for the $ 1.50 per special he hands me a receipt for $ 31.00 when I inquired as to how $ 1.50×8 works out to $ 31.00 he said that my garments cannot be washed and must be dry cleaned. Did I mention that I have been taking the same type of articles there for 5 years? They all have tags in them that say «machine washable». Well needless to say I took my 8 shirts and have written this A-​hole
Off of my list of businesses that I frequent. This guy is obviously a greedy pig and a rip off so good bye, so long, farewell A-​hole.

Excellent service and people with very reasonable pricing! Can get same day svc on dry cleaning, laundered shirts, all done on premise at no additional cost.
If Mr. Blake, their in house expert tailor is available… simple alterations like hems and cuffs on suit pants can be done while you wait for $ 8/​$ 10. They graciously allowed me to park in the back while I was waiting for my alterations. I was so surprised that both my pants were cuffed and pressed in 10 mins…, that I had this amazing urge to leave a tip for Mr. Blake, so I did! Simply the best in Astoria or anywhere else!!!

Crescent Cleaners did an amazing job on dry cleaning my suits and pants with affordable prices, $ 10/​suit & $ 3.75/pair of pants (4 or more). The creases and starch are perfect.
I also got my shirts laundered for $ 1.25 apiece (3 or more). This is the best price you can ever find! Usually they charge you $ 1.89 or more, so this is a steal!
I’m so glad I found this place, so I don’t need to drive all the way down to Packard Square Cleaners which is on the same street. It’s always hard to find a parking spot there just to drop off my laundry.
At Crescent Cleaners, you don’t need to pay cash upfront to get the special prices. Unlike PSC, you can pay with cash or credit card when you pick up your clothes.
Also all their dry cleaning is done on premises.

Don’t come here to get your designer jeans hemmed.
I had a pair of Seven For All Mankind with a unique stitching at the bottom. The Korean dry cleaning place on 34^th ave (1 block down) always hems my jeans to keep the original bottom design. This place just chopped it off without any regard for the integrity of the piece.
For dry clean it is fine, but unless you need to hem some cheap pieces, don’t take anything precious here for hemming.

I had 3 dresses dry cleaned at Crescent Cleaners and was pretty pleased with how they turned out. It’s a bit expensive (and I’m also a bit frugal), the three dresses set me back about $ 24. The plus side? They’re open Monday through Saturday, early in the morning, until 7 p.m. The staff was friendly, and my clothes were handled with care. Added bonus for being right by the Q66 bus, which I take every morning.
