Dr. Persich is a excellent DPM foot doctor & surgeon. Especially for diabetics he really knows his Profession. I have Diabetes & he saved my legs from knee down from being amputated. Several times already . He really cares about his patients & he has a great office staff as well . When you call for an appointment you get one very soon and not a mouth later. Also you are not waiting for hours in office. he sees you quickly. And like I said he knows His profession he’ll take great care of you

Last Nov. I broke my foot in Queens and went to the Mt. Sinai ER. I started follow up care with Dr. Persich after the ER attending told me the Dr. referral the ER had given me was not as good as Dr. Persich and she changed my referral paper. As Dr. Persich was an in-network provider I figured fine. He was personable, and very eager to share his accomplishments. Another Dr. Sharma always came in with him so I figured he was an assistant or associate and the front desk always charged my co-pay. When Dr. Persich didn’t show up after the first few appts. and Dr. Sharma took his place I didn’t think much of it until I received bills in April(my last appt. was Jan 15). I began reviewing the complicated statements and found errors so I called the billing person and learned that I had been switched to Dr. Sharma and that Dr. Sharma was an out of network Dr. so I would have to send Dr. Sharma my GHI reimbursement checks. I never would have gone to Dr. Sharma as I check my Drs. before making appts. and always made appts for Dr. Persich. Interesting how this turn of events happened and I now feel manipulated from the moment of the change of Dr’s in the ER. Could go on, but just want to let others know that you could have your Dr. switched mid-stream, wind up with billing problems, and not find out for months if you go to this office.
