The service was crap waited for half an hour. Got our water then we waited another 10 min and no one came to our table to serve us so we left.

Great prices and huge portions. 2 dinners feed 4 people and was less then $ 20. We had the Hong Kong noodles and the pick 4. Loved the pick 4 got to try a little bit of everything. Our favorites were the orange chicken and the sweet and sour chicken.

The service as good and the food was just ok. The chow me in was the best thing we experienced but the spring roll was extremely bready and not worth eating. We went during lunch on a Monday and there weren’t many people dining and NO music so we almost felt like we had to whisper when we talked.

This is clearly a place where the locals go. My BBQ Pork Fun Shee plate was huge w/veggies and all. Enjoyed this place; has a nice lounge room too.

This is a hole in the wall restaurant on a side street in Astoria. The staff was very friendly and the food was old school Chinese good. The portions were large and piping hot when they got to our table. The prices are extremely reasonable, we ordered 2 combo dinners for 3 of us, we had leftovers to take home and our bill was only 17.00. Our meal included hot tea and soup. We will be back!

The best Chinese food in Clatsop County, and some of the best anywhere. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and always predictable. We’ve eaten here for years and have never had a bad meal.

Best pork foo yung in Clatsop or Pacific County, by far. Not that that’s a major accomplishment, or anything. Everything else was pretty run-of-the-mill, but I’d go back, simply because everything else in this area is worse.

Pretty standard Chinese food, though the egg foo yung and spring rolls were really good.

I have eaten here several times over the summer always at lunch. Staff is very friendly and seem happy to accommodate requests. Food is always good and this restaurant is worth the effort to locate in the confusing maze of Astoria’s streets.

Just checked out this place during the weekend I visited Astoria, and I must say — this has to be the best Chinese Restaurant of all! I like how the place is somewhat isolated near a park so it’s quiet & lots of parking space available. The owner herself was very inviting and the food was delicious! We ordered Chop Suey but looked totally different that what we normally saw but once you tried it, it was super good!(Don’t judge a book by it’s cover — is what I learned) Overall, I was super shocked on how cheap it was even without the tax! Totally recommend!

Great lunch specials here, good price and large selection. I love that they start you off with hot tea. I got the BBQ pork lunch($ 7 or $ 8) which included hot and sour soup, a spring roll, and a very, very generous portion of pork fried rice and Chinese BBQ pork slices stir fried with veggies. The spring roll was a little greasy, but overall everything was tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and prompt. The food is more Americanized than authentic Chinese(e.g. crackers with soup, ketchup like dipping sauce), but not surprising given the demographics of the area. They also have a small gambling area in the back(think video poker) hat seems to be popular. I guess that’s a thing around here… Chinese restaurants doubling up as «lounges.»

Chinese places can be hit or miss but this one, in lil ol’ Astoria, is really impressive. The spring rolls are some of the best I’ve had and are loaded up. We had veggie fried rice(extra egg mmmm) and tofu lo mein(they switched deep fried tofu for regular at no charge with no hassle). Both were so flavorful and delicious. Sometimes you get Chinese food and it just tastes like… grease. Not this place. A little on the expensive side but worth it because the portions are large.

Great Chinese food! Having grown up in the area(Long Beach) I ate this stuff religiously through high school and college. I will say, I now come home 3 – 4 times a year and it’s on our«we must eat here at least once during our short vacation» list! Living in Cali we don’t have places that will do 2 or 3 items of the above and let you create your own combo plate – I love that about this place! Here are some items we get often and love: Sweet and sour chicken, BBQ pork fried rice, BBQ pork, BBQ pork low mein(get it every time), chicken subgum chow mein, general tso chicken, chicken with black bean sauce, and the nothing fancy egg flower soup. Lovely family that’s been there for forever! Always friendly. Food is fast whether it’s take out or eaten there. The décor isn’t new but it’s always clean. Seriously, a great place to eat – never fails.

This is in addition to my previous reviews and comments— Normally, ALL of our Chinese options around here are from the Ho Hum Province, so pretty predictable, uninspired, and similar. Today, the heavens parted literally, as I actually ordered something that i hadn’t ordered before at this nor any other Chinese restaurant… Teriyaki Chicken! It was hands down the best teriyaki chicken that I have ever had. Perfect sweet and rich flavour with tender chicken with a hint of crispiness on the outside. All marinated in sauce with onions and carrot slivers. Really damn great! I need to order Japanese dishes more often at our Chinese places! It is now 1AM, and I am craving it now!!! Give it a try… it is on a lunch special with pork fried rice and two big fried wontons for 6 bucks! Best hot oolong tea too!

A great find. Ordered Won Ton Soup, Fried Rice and General’s Chicken(based on another review). Everything was outstanding. However, we did not see the warnings about portion size — this mean could have fed 4 more people. Hard to pack to go when you are on the road — so order carefully. I will come for lunch next time.

As far a «Chinese» food goes this place delivers. We have tried them all and return here… year after year. Fried food is hot and crisp, portions are large and veggies seem fresh. Love the egg rolls and the pork fried rice. wish they’d dump the egg drop soup and give you wonton… not so slimy! The décor is dated in the dining room but not as dumpy as the lounge– definitely needs a makeover. Service in the lounge is nearly non– existent at noon and more times than not you have to go out to the restaurant and announce your presence. I’m surprised no one has taken it to mean its a self– serve bar… the place is always busy so they must be doing something right. So when you have a yen for Chinese… this should be your stop! «Hao»

While I don’t claim to be a Chinese food expert I can say that I have consumed large quantities of food at all of the Chinese restaurants in Clatsop County and this one is far and away the best. Consistently fast friendly service for both take out and table service. The food is always fresh, consistently prepared, and cheap(like McDonald’s cheap). I typically eat there a few times a month and can not remember ever spending more the 10 $ w/tip. Favorites include the Wonton Soup, Egg Foo Yung, and Curry Chicken. The décor is spartan and the bar is a bit of a dive(w/strong cheap drinks) but if you want the best Chinese in the area this is your place.
