Great place been coming here for years … Amazing stuff love the espresso Saw something on face book regarding Albanians. People are so sensitive. I’ve met the owner a few times since I’ve been coming here for years he would never discriminate against any race. I’m Albanian myself lol. Parisi bakery is amazing!

I’ve heard so many good things about this bakery. My daughter ordered her wedding cake from here last summer. So it was decided that we would order a cake for my youngest daughter’s confirmation. So my son orders the cake way back in April to be ready for May 28 by 12 pm. When I send for my daughter and son in law to pick up said cake, The cake was never baked. Furthermore, there was no clue, as to who took the original order. And no record on their end about the cake. Even though we had a receipt, no one had a clue. We were offered another cake from off the shelf. However, it was nothing like the buttercream cake with pink frosting my son ordered for my little girls’ special day. I was so upset that a bakery of this caliber could make a colossal mistake like this. This event ruined the day for my family. And to top it off, the replacement cake was not even fresh, it was hard and stale. All I can say is never again with this place. Totally unacceptable!

I asked the sales girl if the cream puffs were fresh, since she assured me that they were just done in the morning i went ahead bought 2 pounds for a party… long story short i was si embarrassed because people complained about the unpleasant overstored taste.

I frequent this bakery a couple times a week at least. Every loaf of bread I’ve tried has been superb. If you want something specific, be sure to get there early as there bread does sellout daily. Lattes/coffee are amazing for the price. All of there baked goods are also great, so far I’ve tried every cheesecake combo, muffins, and cookies all of which are, again, superb. The ladies behind the counter offer great service and try to help you as quickly as possible. If you’re looking for a bakery in Astoria, this should be a top choice.

We used to live a few blocks from Parisi and needless to say, I was there quite often! Their bread is always fresh and very reasonably priced, the coffee is good and their pastries(especially my favorite, the baklava) are amazing.

Great little bakery near the train in Astoria. Some of the associates are not the friendliest but the service is fast, the cookies good and the canolis are amazing, definitely the best thing in there

I’ve never tried the breads here, but the cookies and biscotti are perfect! They are not too sweet and have the perfect crunch. Not to mention the delicious freshly baked smell invitingly wafting around the corner. The friendly staff makes for a great pick me up to grab a cookie(or 2 or 5) from this neighborhood spot.

Try the chocolate eclairs, Linzer cookies, and any bread item. They’re so fresh and delicious. I’ve created a few addicts after bringing these sweets to parties.

Hands down best bakery in Astoria! I’m always stopping by for the iced lattes and rainbow cookies. Whenever I come by Saturday/Sunday morning the bread is still hot and it’s delicious. And the staff is always super sweet and helpful. Love this place :)

Was not a huge fan of their cake balls or cupcakes! They tasted artificial, and the cake balls were a little pasty. A very pretty display, though, and very friendly staff.

This specific review is not to say anything about their great breads etc… but to let people know how incredibly CLEAN is that place. I’m a Food and Beverages professional and I automatically inspect everything top to bottom when I visit any establishment. I was impressed. I hope they always keep up the good work. Service is great too. Five stars.

This bakery is known to some as Parisi Bros but boasts your solid old-fashioned Italian baked goods. Not something I crave, but something I can appreciate.

When I used to live in Astoria, I made a weekly trek here. I had almost forgotten how much I frequented it, until I espied it after a recent trip to the Museum of Moving Image. So many joyous remembrances merited a stop in. Parisi has been in the nabe for years and it’s easy to understand its popularity. The bread is always fresh and tasty, especially if you come early enough to get it hot or after work. Bread flies out the door here, so you don’t get stale loaves. Their semolina is one of my faves. Parisi also does a good job with the nut cookie with the powdered sugar and long name, Kourabiedes, though my suggestion is to not wear black when you pick some up. You won’t be able to resist munching; I rather shameless, braved having powdered sugar all over my face, never mind my clothes. Service hasranged from patient to brusque when there is a long line. Decide quickly then. Stick with the Greek pastries, the honey cookies, the sheet cakes like their coffee cakes. You can’t go wrong, but you might get plump.

Had cannoli here. Hit the spot and probably the best cannoli I’ve had in the states. Saw a lot of other things like various cheesecakes and pastries that I’ll try next time.

I used to live around the corner and bought coffee and various pastries often, love their iced coffee! Whenever I visit my family who live in Philly, i’m basically required to have a box of Parisi cookies in hand when I arrive(they especially love/request the honey dutch boy and the raspberry filled) so I now hop on the N 4 stops to grab them so i’m not turned away at the door. They have raised the price per pound of the butter cookies which sucks, but I understand the cost of butter/eggs has increased so it’s understandable. Also — their cinnamon twists are the perfect accompaniment to a hot cup of coffee.

Ever since I can remember, my family has been going to this bakery to purchase italian bread. They make the most delicious fresh out of the oven italian bread. So fresh that when they hand you the bag, the bread is still warm. We would always buy 2 or 3 because on our way home, we would eat at least 1 loaf. Omg this bread is great. I’ve tried the whole wheat loaf and it is delicious too. Definitely it a must go for italian bread.

If you don’t see a huge line, go in. If you do. maybe wait until it calms down because the longer the line the more stress you see on the team working there and they can be a bit snippy. Their fresh bread is amazing and well priced, I see no reason to back to Wonder bread or whatever you get packaged in a store. This is comparable in cost, better tasting, and fresh. However, the bread is baked early in the morning and whatever they have is whatever they sell. So go super early to pick some up. Their star item is the made to order Cannolis(My mouth is salivating from the mention of it). The cannoli crust is perfectly textured and really delicious. The filling is creamy and rich but not so much that you cant swallow it and scarf it down at the pace you really want. Food Recommendation: Cannoli and Olive Loaf

When there is a need for carbo loading with a sweet kick, there are few places that do it as well and as fresh as Parisi Bros along Broadway. They are the master bakers of all sorts of bread, but lots of TLC goes into their array of cookies, cakes, and pastries, which all collectively add to the wonderful aroma that permeates the interior. The ladies behind the counter are patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the entire spectrum of baked goods they offer. They tend to greet and welcome every customer as if they were regulars and have maintained a steady flow of visitors since they opened over 40 years ago. One could go for their endless shelves of fresh ciabatta bread, heros, baguettes, and rolls. All of them are good, if not exceptional but the real stars are their killer selection of sweets, like their ever popular napoleon, chocolate cannolis, fruit tarts, florentines, and chocolate almond horns. Something most folks may not realize is they also carry a decent selection of pies here as well, many of which are seasonal and baked quite well. Don’t sleep on the rainbow cookies or their freshly brewed ice coffee, it is a hit among the morning rush hour every day.
