Love this place! The meat is delicious. The staff is really helpful and nice. But definitely bone up on Greek holidays — come Easter-​time, you won’t be able to just walk in and get a leg of lamb! Their sausage is the best.

I’ve shopped here over the years. In terms of décor, it’s your basic, no frills butcher shop.
The products, on the other hand… The meats look, and taste, wonderful, and they are fresh. For a small shop, they have a great selection.
I would really recommend the souvlaki, which you could get in pork, chicken, beef and lamb. It is wonderfully marinated and ready to cook. I have often picked up a few kebabs of souvlaki while walking home from work. The price is right, and it makes a wonderful dinner.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The place can be a madhouse before holidays. One day I tried to buy lamb the day before Greek Easter. That was my mistake, as the shop had sold out of lamb, which is a hot item in Astoria at that time.
So, if you are feeling especially carnivorous, I would definitely recommend that you shop here!

This is a traditional Greek butchershop. A father and son operation offering up traditional cuts of meat as well as Greek specialties. Souvlaki, loukaniko, and every kind of lamb you can imagine. I love shopping here because I get what I want and I get it the way I want it. Thick, thin, fatty or lean they aim to please their customers.

This rating is for the melt in your mouth… punch ya in the face BRASO Sausage. One of my best friends is Greek and brings this back to Jersey for me whenever I have a party. The Braso sausage is by far the best sausage I have ever eaten. It is packed with so much flavor and a lot of garlic. Cook slow and low because it does have a lot of fat that will flare up. We always eat this hot off the grill but just used it in a stew with white beans and spinach and it was delicious! Thanks Paulie for bringing it to Jersey! I wish this place would ship the sausage because I would get so much more. My go to secret for all my parties… trust me you can’t go wrong with Braso Sausage!

their sheftalia sausages are to die for! just grill or broil in the over and then season with a generous squeeze of lemon and you will not regret this amazing and scrumptious meal. 12 pieces will run you $ 10 but it is completely worth it!

They must sell alot of meat for the prices to be what they are… You’d be hard pressed to find $ 1.10 pork kebabs anywhere in Queens, possibly cheaper than Western Beef.
Sorrisso’s still has my heart for any other pork product, but any other type of meat and I’m willing to take the trip over to the area of 31st Street for one marbled, juicy, and/​or tender treat or another.

It has no strange smells when you walk in, the service is friendly and knowledgable about the food, and the meats look great!
If you are looking for any sort of meat to buy, this is the cleanest and freshest place to go!
