Stauber Stuart MD

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Stauber for about 15 years. I though he was an OK doctor. He was not very thorough at times but when I was sick he took care of me. However, at the end of last year I got very ill. I went to both my ob/​gyn and dr. Stauber. My ob/​gyn found nothing. I went into Dr. Stauber, I gave him the list of symptoms I had. He DID NOT examin me (his nurse took blood) and he told me «I think all of this is in your head»! I asked him a couple of days later if it could be related to gluten? I had found some info on WebMD that matched my symptoms. He got angry and grudgingly sent me to gastroenterologist. It wound up I had a gluten intolerance, galstones, I have since had my glabladder removed, arthritis in my knees, and am soon to be tested for sleep apnea. It goes with out question that my husband & I will never see Dr. Stauber again. I suggest you also look elsewhere!
