Sun’s Cleaners

I had a hole in my favorite sweater and brought it here. The owner is such a sweet lady and the prices are excellent. Definitely want to tailor my whole closet now just to support this place. Thumbs up!

I love this place. The owner is so kind and wonderful. She does excellent tailoring work at far less expensive rates compared to the shops on 30^th Avenue. I can’t recommend it enough.

Sun’s Cleaners is quick, friendly, and professional. I love seeing the owner (she is always there), but she is so cheerful I can’t help but smile back. Plus, she never yells at me when I’m weeks late on picking up my dry cleaning. (I know, I know, I’m a terrible person.)
She even spotted me .50 cents for my stuff. Not a big amount of cash, but I always appreciate small gestures of kindness.

Sun’s cleaners is conveniently located near my apartment (and next to the laundromat I go to) and it’s almost always open. The Owner’s work ethic is admirable. She’s hard at work every time I walk by and she’s the only person I ever see in there, from 7AM-​7PM, Monday through Saturday. When I used to live at home my Grandma would sew all my clothes that needed to be fixed but luckily I’ve been able to drop a few items off to Sun’s cleaners and she sews them right up!
That being said, I tried getting a lace bridesmaid dress altered here once and she refused to do it because she said the fabric was too delicate, even though a lot of the other bridesmaids were able to get their dresses altered. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you need expensive clothing tailored, but I bring all my other dry cleaning here. I also tried bringing in my UGGS to get cleaned and she talked me out of it because she charges $ 35 for the cleaning and she says herself that it’s expensive. Have to love the honesty! This place is great — my clothes are always ready on time and she takes great care of them when cleaning.
