Mid-Coast Fire Protection

Here’s my experience with Mid-​Coast. Driving down the 101, near Shell Beach today, around 5pm (5:04 to be exact). Where the lanes merge down from 3 to 2 lanes, I begin to merge into a nice big space between a semi (well behind me) and the car (s) in front of me, leaving plenty of room. As I was passing the semi, I noticed the Mid-​Coast van going from the left lane, to the center lane, to the right lane (the one I was in) and he starts coming up quick behind me.
He gets right behind me and fades to the right, over the white line (into the shoulder) as if I’m going too slow and he wants to pass me (what, on the shoulder???). Mind you, he’s RIGHT behind me. I would hazard a guess of 4−6ft from my bumper. Yeah, that’s safe… and a GREAT representation of your company, Mid-​Coast! granted we’re in typical 5pm traffic and only going 20mph, but still, i don’t need my three letter ridden by anyone, let alone somebody who is representing a company.
fyi, I will ensure that neither I, nor anyone I know EVER uses mid coast, as I’d hate to get stuck with whoever they have drive their van around. Food for thought, don’t put a jesus sticker on your car and drive like a jerk… same point applies for putting a mid-​coast fire protection sticker on your van, and hiring an employee who drives extremely dangerously. Literally it was so bad that I debated calling CHP, no joke.

What a great company! I called in a panic on a Saturday when our electrician realized that a screw holding up our chandelier went through our fire sprinkler pipe. Could’ve been a total disaster!
Not only was Mid-​Coast one of the only local companies to have a ²⁴⁄₇ emergency number, but they even offered to come out right away. On a Saturday afternoon! The leak was under control, and I told them it could wait a bit. They came out first thing Monday morning as promised and was able to fix the problem super-​competently. They were even NEAT! Plus, we had a weird system that the previous owner had put in and the Mid-​Coast guy (Joe, bless his soul!) patiently took the time to figure it all out and get everything done efficiently and pleasantly.
A happy surprise during a stressful time – would definitely call them again should the need arise, and can’t recommend them highly enough!
