we bought our first Hot Springs spa in 1988 from Stove and Spa. The a couple new ones last year. Plus a couple of gas Hearthstone stoves and Pizza oven for our winery. Wes and Lora are knowledgable and responsive. Today such service is rare and I would certainly rate them as 5 stars

Lora and Wes are a pleasure to work with. We just love our Hot Springs Spa! It was delivered and set up as promised. We use it nearly every day! I highly recommend Stove and Spa Center if you are considering purchasing a spa! They are very knowledgeable and a great place to do business!

We bought a great spa from them and we really love it. Lora and Wes were very friendly and professional and we loved doing business with them. This is an excellent store and we would recommend them to other people in the market for a hot tub.

I must be the only person to have experienced horrible customer service from these people. I bought a Hot Spring Spa from them back in February and had an immediate problem with the temperature control. I waited for three months while they fiddled with it about once a month and finally called the manufacturer. Within a week the proper parts were sent and it now functions alright. Two months ago, another problem occurred with scratches appearing inside the shell in long black lines. I reported this to them in June and was promised a service visit in three weeks. Well, two months later, and after some nasty threats, they came out and determined that a band of errant teen agers must be getting into the spa while I’m away and causing the damage. This despite the fact that I live in a totally isolated community and I keep the cover locked when not in use. So they sent me a service call bill within 24 hours. I have again called the manufacturer and told them that I refuse to have Stove and Spa come out again

We bought our hot tub 11 years ago and the service has been so excellent. We’ve owned this Hot Springs hot tub and I had no problems with it whatsoever and the owners have been very helpful with sharing knowledge on how to get the most out of our investment.

First rainy day and the new fireplace is ON and keeping us warm:))) LOVE this purchase and the fact that the heater hasn’t been on one day since we put this in.
Update: JANUARY 2014 we have now had our Kozy Heat fireplace insert for 10 months and could not be happier with this purchase! It kept us cozy and warm during those chilly days in Nov and Dec, and the ambience of the beautiful looking fire is wonderful. Besides having the heat, which our wood burning fireplace really didn’t provide, the very BEST thing about having an insert is … NOT breathing the smoke! Our neighbors have been burning wood, and their fireplace smoke literally invades our house. There are nights I go to bed and have to breathe through the sheets to keep from coughing. I also forgot how much ash used to get all over the house … No more! Really wish everyone would change over to inserts. We could all breathe easier!!!

This place is great! The staff is knowledgable & their products are amazing! We purchased our spa about a month ago & could not be happier with the delivery process & the spas inner workings – its super easy to maintain! Yeah! We use it every single day :) Thanks!

I have to recommend the Stove and Spa Shop of Atascadero. I purchased a Hearthstone Sterling DV gas Freestanding Stove about a month ago and we just got it installed. First I will say that Wes came out and showed us the best placement for our stove, he then came out on the delivery day and participated in the installation. There was a gas line that needed to be installed and the contractor contacted Wes and got direction from him. Ultimately there were a couple of places for the gas line to end up, one easy the other not as. Wes suggested the location that was more difficult and I now. know why, it is hidden nicely and if it weren’t for Wes, it would not have been placed there.
Next the install. It took a long time to do the install and a couple of unforeseen hiccups took place. Wes worked through them, none of them his fault… and completed our installation in a very professional manner. Every aspect done correctly and perfectly.
The House that I have is fairly new and well insulated. It is 2840 Square Feet and the unit we purchased will heat an 1800 Square foot home. 38,000 BTU. We expected that it would do a good job but are blown away by how well it ACTUALLY performed. Currently we are able to keep our main living area at 70+ degrees and hallways to the bedrooms as same. We are surprised by how hot the stove is and how well it heats. We have a ceiling fan on that circulates the heat and all is good.
After a couple of nights now, we are in the 30s outside and the stove is keeping most of our living area in the 70 range. Here is the cool part, This stove is on LOW. We don’t have a need to turn it to high as it will cook you out of the room. If you are considering a gas freestanding stove, don’t hesitate… purchase it and take Wes’s advice on the installation. He knows what he is doing.
Potentially if it gets into the teens, as it can do here, we may need to turn it on high. So far, no need to.
