O Stars. Very disappointing. I had the double cheeseburger and it was not good.
A few months ago I had the same burger at the Monroe location and it was really good. So I expected the Athens location to be about the same but it was like night and day difference. Should have just gone to Wendy’s.

Stopped in here on a visit to UGA. Nice little place and good vibe. Families mixed with college students. Bar service was good. Pizza was above average. Would definitely come back.

Went to Amici for dinner last night while visiting my sister. Ordered the Alfredo and added grilled chicken. What was brought to me was not chicken, at least not any chicken I’ve ever seen. It was brown and finely chopped. I have literally never seen chicken that color! Verified with our waitress and she assured me it was chicken. I attempted to eat around it because the Alfredo sauce was really good, but wound up not really eating a whole lot. Not really pleased at all…

Our second visit here. Friendly service, good food and ice cold beer. Perfect spot for a visit to our favorite Bulldog!

We stopped in Athens for lunch one day and drove around the downtown historic district until we found a restaurant that looked good enough. Since we were in a hurry, we didn’t have time to research our stop. We popped into Amici, sat at the bar, and picked a pizza off of the menu. They have a different special for each day of the week… we were there on a Sunday so we got an XL pizza for the price of a L so we could take the leftovers home for dinner.
We ordered the Woodsman pizza and man was it good! Pepperoni, Prosciutto, and mushrooms was a fabulous combination.
I’m pretty critical of pizza crust and Amici’s crust was just right– flavorful and the perfect ratio of crunchy to soft in every bite!

Sunday, 19 October 2014. In Athens on business. Opened at noon, extremely friendly waitress, checked on me often. Ordered the Woodsman calzone and a bloody Mary. Calzone was perfect, nice crispy top but not overly so. The fillings were generous, mozz pepperoni, ham and mushrooms. Served piping hot with a side of pizza sauce. Food was awesome, service was superior. Granted they were not super busy, but as a lone patron I never felt that awkwardness that sometimes goes with being the business traveler. One more thing, the music was really very nice modern hip playlist with some older stuff mixed in. What i really like is that it was in the background, not blaring like many college town establishments. Thanks, Amici, for giving me an enjoyable, gastronomically pleasing experience!

I’ll surprise myself and give this one 4 stars. ONLY because the service was great and the wings were amazing… Great location, everything you could ever want to eat or drink is on the block or within walking distance. Pizza. We ordered a large pizza and it was probably a 12″ pizza. Which is way below standards for a large. And wayyyyyyyy overpriced for what it is. I would recommend going on Wednesdays for their 60¢ wings, and $ 1 off pitchers of basic domestics and Yuengling… Oh well I may go back to get beer and wings but no pizza– that’s for sure. Depalmas is the way to go on pizza!

We arrived at 12:15, roughly 8 tables were occupied, with about half already eating. It took 45 minutes to get our food, we had to ask for it to go at that point. That was a cold sandwich and calzone. Not a word from our waitress about the wait, just handed us our checks. So service sucked. The food was fine. Not bad by any means, but definitely not great. And about that sandwich. For $ 8 know that it is a 4″ sub. I repeat, a 4″ sub.

Hands down the best place to enjoy a great meal in Athens. Great fresh food and great creative menu items. It’s not just the food but the people all seem to be friends with each other and every single patron that comes in. While I sat there having a slice and some wings there were several people coming and picking up to go orders and it was like the servers and bar tender knew them all by first name.

I absolutely love their buffalo Chicken Pizza with honey on the side. by far the best pizza ever must go to place for anyone in the Athens Georgia Area. its worth the drive and the wait A+A+A+

Got takeout from here through Bulldawg Food last night, and it may have been the best takeout I’ve ever had.
I’ve eaten here several times and usually get a pizza and fried artichoke hearts (which are the best things ever). The pizza is not impressive really, but everything else they have is amazing. The salad was nicely dressed, the subs are rich and delicious, but not in a heavy-​feeling gross way.
Skip the pizza and you will be thoroughly satisfied with every meal you can get here. Their prices are higher than similar style restaurants in town, but the quality is far better.

Big fan of this place. The wings are great and the drinks are as well. The prices are to die for! Love great food in college towns… You get the best of everything. The bartenders were fun and social and the atmosphere is good. I recommend this place to anyone. Try the lemon pepper wings!

Ok! On April 28, I was in Athens for the Terrapin Twilight and I stopped in for some wings. I have always heard that Amici has the best wings in Athens. Well… it’s true! I got 20, X-​hot. This grade of hotness is actually about medium, or what I call Buffalo flavor. Amici actually makes their own sauce and these were really good. I also asked for garlic and they actually put fresh garlic on them. All is forgiven for January, Amici. Great job on the wings. See the pic. I loved ‘em.

Food is consistently fresh and delicious at Amici and the wings and pizza are to die for. Always very friendly and fast service, even on busy Wednesday nights. Would recommend to anyone. Late night is nice as well.
If you had a mediocre experience there in the past, give Amici another shot as they’ve got new owners that really turned the place around a few months ago. There’s a full bar with great bartenders now and the food and service quality are vastly improved over before.

I’ve been here twice in the past 6 months. First time, it was okay. We came on a game day so we got their wing special, I think its order one set get another set free. I had their honey hot wings were are pretty good. It took awhile but the game was on and we were having good conversations so I didn’t really care. However, the second time we came it was much worse. Our appetizer came our pretty quick but our meal took us awhile. We went into the place around 1:10 left around 3:30. There was about 5 of us and we all just ordered wings. I understand that wings take awhile however, they do not take that long, I’m sorry they just don’t. The place wasn’t even busy, there was one other table in their and left in frustration was well. They also «forgot» my order so I had to wait a little longer. Our meal should have comped or at least a percentage off but our waiter was little lost and confused I guess about customer service.
The staff is very unprofessional. They just hang around, the bartender kept walking back and forth, our waiter was nice but unaware of what the situation and the kitchen is slow. Its sad, the food is actually decent and the atmosphere and location are great. The place needs new management.

OMG stay awaaaaaaaaaay from the sausage and peppers sandwich. STAY AWAY. It tasted so wonderful but it didn’t taste the same way later on in the night.
I liked the service and everyone was super friendly. But I can’t say the same goes for the food :(
At least not the sausage and peppers sandwich. I’d like to give this place another shot, but honestly I don’t think my stomach can handle it. Sorry Amici’s!
