My son and I will come over to Athens to Clydes because of the larger selection of tactical rifles and pistols and rare pieces and antiques on the wall.
I’ve bought a few guns here over the past couple of years at a good value and the team here seems to know what they are doing. They also have a used selection of AR/​SCARs so you can save some $$ and if you want a Barrett 50, they have them too. Will be getting a new 1911 here soon but like finding some deals and keeping my inventory of ammo up when they have bulk sales. Great place.

Wow! What a refreshing gun shop experience! From the time we walked in the door of their super-​clean bright modern facility, we were immediately approached by employees to see if we could use any help. Multiple employees took turns walking through the store with us over the course of about an hour, showing us guns, explaining things in detail, giving honest advice. Matt in particular was extremely helpful, and never got frustrated with the time we were taking, nor with questions my partner was constantly asking about things. We were very happy with our purchases, and even though we were sold an incorrect part, when we brought it back for exchange, the entire exchange process was customer focused and hassle free. I can’t recommend Clyde’s Armory highly enough.
