Don Carter Heating & Cooling

Wow, I highly recommend this company! When my husband and I noticed that our air conditioning didn’t seem to be cooling down the house, I called Don Carter Heating and Cooling. They are located in Athens and also serve Madison. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful and sent a technician to our house that afternoon! He spent a while talking to me about what he thought the problem was but explained that the unit had frozen up and needed to thaw before anything could be done. He was very professional and knowledgeable! A different technician came the next day, and he too was professional and knowledgeable and he spent a long time explaining to me how our unit worked, what the problem was, and the options of fixing it. He told me a lot of great info that he didn’t have to. Neither of the techs talked down to me or treated me like I didn’t know anything, which is hard to come by sometimes. The company is going to do all the leg work for me to check on my warranty so I pay as little as possible. Great company!
