El Azteca Supermercado Y Taqueria

This was my first visit and I was pleased. Good authentic food and great prices. I had the beef tacos and they were great. The waitress was very friendly.

Super good and super cheap tacos. Had the pastor tacos. Comes with two really delicious hot sauces. Staff are very friendly and service is really quick for lunch.

Ok. So first time I went here I loved the food. I just got some tacos but they were really good. Second time I went. I ordered the huevos rancheros like they are on the menu. The menu they hand you. Not the menu above the cash register. It says eggs over easy or over medium. None of which mean over hard. They brought my order out. It looked absolutely delicious.
I cut into my eggs and they were so over cooked it was ridiculous. Completely hard. I asked my server of I could get a new order over easy/​medium. She said do you just want a new order of eggs? We will have to charge you for them. I said I ordered it the way it says on the menu. It says over easy/​medium. She said well this is how we cook it here. I said this is over hard. It is not what it says on the menu I then had to show her what the menu says. She walked away.
Almost 10 mins later she comes back and I say I will just pay for my bottle of water please. Took her forever to come back. I gave her $ 2 and left.
Horrible customer service. I mean. The customer is always right. Especially when the customer is, in fact, right. If you have a menu you should cook your items the way the menu states. when called on it by a customer do not argue with them. Ugh. I will not return to this place which is a shame because the flavor was there.

I was really happy to find this Taqueria in Athens Alabama we moved here from Texas my wife was Hispanic and I love Mexican food especially the tortas and the tamales and A good burrito I know if my wife was still here she would love this place I know me and my daughter will continue to frequent the Taqueria because the food is fantastic

Very authentic.. I have been looking for true Mexican and this is as close as I have found. Don’t expect any fuufuu just good food. Had the enchiladas and the Green sauce is excellent. Will be back.

Great Mexican food, one of the best I’ve tried. Friendly staff. Always with a smile. I am now a regular, because they have so many different variety of food, none that you find anywhere around, there is a lot of food to explore and try new flavors. The store also had a vast variety of hispanic products.
