They have a huge selection and it’s all organized very clearly. I like that they have a clear aisle for gin, one for rum, several for vodka, etc. I’m not much of a connoisseur but I’ve never been looking for something there that I couldn’t find. The people who work there are also super friendly and very knowledgeable. I haven’t looked at their beer and wine much, but their prices on liquor seem very standard to me. I highly recommend it because of how well organized it is and how nice the staff are!

Incredible selection. Incredible variety. From beer to wine to spirits, this should be your first and last stop on the west side. They also have an impressive selection of accessories and there’s even a walk-in humidor if cigars are your thing. The place is huge and the staff is incredibly friendly– one guy spent at least ten minutes going over the different local brews they offered helping me settle on a really great Creature Comforts IPA. If you want a business that earns your loyalty, check out Five Points.

Best Bottle Shop on the West side of town. They have an extremely large selection of beer, wine, and spirits. They also have a walk in humidor and a growler shop out back. If you want the cheapest beer, try Kroger, but you will be really limited. If you have questions about trying a new beer, wine, or liquor check out Five Points.
Also don’t try fake ID’s or stealing anything — they carry.

The selection here is incredible. I usually stop on my way from Athens to Atlanta. My boyfriend loves cigars and, unless I’m mistaken, this has to be the best cigar selection in Athens. It’s not a case of cigars, it houses a sizable humidor. On every visit, I’m always greeted and asked if there is anything I need help with, and I usually do because I don’t know much about cigars. I’ve always been helped without any problems. I can get my choice of wine, his cigars and bourbon all in one stop. Overall, I LOVE how friendly the staff is. As long as I’m in Athens, I’ll be a patron.

Super score here. After falling in love with their other location and driving up twice within a month, dropping over $ 400, I finally checked out this location to see if it compares. Shit it does.
The store is really easy to find, right off the main road and the perimeter, decent sized parking lot and easy to spot. The store is HUGE, I only browsed the beer section since that’s all I care about, and it was enormous, same selection as the other store but with a very large section for mix your own six packs, at least 6 – 7 coolers full. A few beers here that aren’t at the other store, and of course, growlers. Over 40 flowing taps of fresh beer, huge selection as well, and fair priced. This place is like second heaven. I’ll be back.

This place is much larger and newer the the one in five points but the staff does not know as much and are not as friendly. Unless you know what you want and where it is located I would suggest you go to the original store. But just like the original this bottle shops as everything you might want or need.

I drank my mom’s wine last night. Not just a glass… the entire bottle. Woops! Thanks to google, it veered me to the location that carried that specific wine. Five points bottle shop. I AM SO GLAD IT DID. The selection is really big for Athens. I haven’t seen a store with this much variety (in Athens).
I’m so used to the extensive selection at Total Wine (Alpharetta location). This place gave me a veryyyy similar vibe, and they were extremely helpful. I was probably asked 4x if I needed help.

5-stars: For a booze store this size, I’ve never seen a better selection. If you’re in the market for high quality German beers (my fav.), they have most all of the beers that you’ll see as highest ranked in the beer competitions. Need some sort of 20-year-old liquor that you’d like to pay $ 200 – 500 for? Sure, they have that too. This store recently completed an expansion and renovation, and it looks great. It always smells a bit of dropped liquor bottles (hopefully no one dropped any $ 200 bottles!), but that’s part of the charm. Staff are nice enough given the fact that they are always having to worry about fake IDs and such. Oh, and they have some sweet beer glasses if you need the perfect Hefeweizen glass. I don’t drink very often, but when I do, I shop at Five Points… Wait, did that sound like a beer commercial? :)

The best liquor store in Athens. Their staff is amazing and their selection is impossible to beat! They have someone there that can help you find anything you want from wine to cigars to beer or the perfect mixer. I don’t buy my stuff anywhere else.
