I DO I DO Bridal Ctr

I went in yesterday with my mom and future mother-​in-​law and we had the most pleasant experience. All the women were great and Caroline was a major help! The women were fun to pull dresses that I never would have tried on! Very personal and relaxed. I wasn’t rushed to make a decision or to leave the store. We took our time and enjoyed this part of the wedding planning! This was the first place I went to try on dresses, I loved it!

I set up an appointment at I do, I do: and I arrived on time. The entire time I was there (40 minutes tops) my bridesmaid, my mom and myself felt as if we were a burden to them, even though I only tried on 3 dresses! My mom ended up having to pick out a veil and belt for me since my consultant was too busy planning the rest of their week. The consultants was also extremely rude to my mother, obviously she did not realize who would be buying the dress. Overall, I was so disappointed and ended up finding my dress at another bridal salon in Athens!

Walked into the store and was looked at by the lady as if i had two heads. No greeting was offered or any mention of welcome and I was told she was closing early and couldn’t help me because she was having to pick up son. Completely understandable, however no mention was made of looking around or handing me a business card or even offering to set up a future appointment. I asked to look around and she agreed with reluctance then walked to the back to discuss with her partner while ogling us up and down. Defiantly did not feel welcome and when she kept asking if the gray car was ours at the door we all took the hint and left. Her attitude was snotty and rude. I will not be back nor recommend to any of my friends.

Wedding dress shopping made easy! Very friendly staff of young ladies that help you into the gowns and make you feel gorgeous! Alterations max out at $ 75 which is a huge plus.
Going to try on my dress was the best part of wedding planning. I looked forward to going into I DO I DO every time to feel like a princess!

I did not enjoy this store at all. I hate posting negative reviews, but my experience at this store was not good.
They made me feel cheap with what I considered a great budget for a dress (well over $ 1,000), did not listen to me with what I wanted, and did not give me much personal attention at all. I had made an appointment and expected to have a good time. I love supporting local businesses, but I was really disappointed.
They tried to get me to try on bridesmaid dresses and imagine them in white… I don’t know any bride that would want that…
They do not have much of a selection either.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with this Bridal Shop. I am not a person who easily gets upset and I try to be mindful that we all make mistakes. I’m not even a person who sends food back even if I really hate it! I live out of town, and had to order a bridesmaid’s dress over the phone since this small shop does not have a website. Well, somehow, Patti, the owner, ran my card twice. I live in the 21^st century, unlike this small shop who doesn’t have a fax machine or letterhead, and have mobile banking with text alerts. When I called to talk to Patti about this, she argued with me and talked over me when I tried to explain myself. I spent hours being upset about my account being overdrawn, talking to the bank, taking off of work, and having to get the bank to correct this.

I live in Atlanta, and you’d think being the much bigger city with billions more bridal shops would make it the place to find your gown. Athens only has this one bridal shop, but it beats the hell out of all Atlanta has to offer!
I went to maybe four or five shops around Atlanta with not much luck. I was starting to believe there was no dress for me in the world. My pessimism about the ordeal made me hesitant to drive all the way out to I Do I Do, despite the fact that a good friend of mine and her sister-​in-​law both found spectacular dresses there. I’m so glad I went, though!
It’s a small shop, but there are no crap dresses thrown in there to boost the inventory. The quality of the selection blew me away! I found my perfect dress in a matter of minutes and two more beautiful gowns that made the decision tough. The owner, Patty, is also fantastic. She’s friendly, helpful, and not at all judgmental, which I definitely appreciate (no snide remarks about weight, no endless jokes about bringing my fiancé in with me, etc.).
As for the details, they do try to stock a range of sizes, but most seemed to be size 14. I think their prices are very reasonable too. My dress was $ 800, and that seemed to be the middle of the price range.
My dress hasn’t come in yet, so I can’t comment on alterations. From what I’ve seen from the other two girls who got their dresses there, that part seemed to go off without a hitch.
Point of the story is that if you live in Athens, go there. If you live in Atlanta, go there. It’s worth it.

I went to many bridal boutiques, and frankly, I Do I Do had the best service so I bought my dress there. Even though I don’t live in Athens anymore.
I felt ignored in every other boutique I went to around where I live. Not that I need that much attention, but trying on bridal gowns is mechanically complicated — usually your friend is not enough to get you in and out of these structures. At I Do I Do all the ladies there seemed actually interested in me and the dresses I tried on.
I also sent a friend there for her bridal gown, and I am a bridesmaid in her wedding — so I have been through the bridesmaids’ dresses there as well.
Granted, neither of my dresses need any alterations besides a hem, so I can’t rank the quality of their alteration work.
However, with both my gown and bridesmaid dress selection, I couldn’t have been happier with the price, the selection, and the service.

Awesome one on one customer service. Very friendly. Not a whole lot of dresses to pick from, but the few they have are pretty amazing. Prices are pretty reasonable too.
